Great video! I appreciate your demonstration on how to solve the E-8 error in a diesel heater. It seems like a helpful solution for those experiencing this issue. However, I wonder if the cost of fuel and other factors might deter some people in the UK from utilizing this method. 🤔 Nonetheless, your troubleshooting guide is valuable for those who are willing to give it a try. Thanks for sharing your expertise! 😁
Excellent informative video 👍 I have the same in my van which works for 5 mins then repeatedly shuts down with E.08 error. As the heaters are relatively cheap to buy new @ £80, wondering whether its worth replacing mine rather than paying local mechanic to service mine @ 60+vat per hour!
I believe if you buy a new one, you still need to go to the mecanic at this point. Just go and service it. However, if you do it yourself, it's a nother story, and they don't go that chip. i think now it's starting around 200£ and the sky is the limit depending on the brand
I had a E 8 code on my heater,I bought new pump ,it will run for like 5min than cut out,I replaced it with a new heater deisel ,line pump every new, but still doing same problem, could it be power to pump? code on my old heater
Got the same unit , turned on first time and ran for 40 min blowing fire out the exhaust and having red exhaust pipe on setting 4and above. It died with this code and never started again 😔. Will dismantle and investigate
I believe your test bed is going to create too much fuel going in. I think the pump should either be level with the heater or slightly below, or neither should the tank be too high this may cause too rich and mix in the long term. I recently had to deal with a 08 error my problem was contaminated fuel with stuff that appeared to be like glue, the Woodstock the pump working I would replace the pump it would run the first time perfectly then the next day it would not run the pump would be seized, I have a filter in the fuel line I cleaned that unfound it had glue like substance on it hat to resort in acetone to clean it off petrol would not touch it, then I found the whole tank had this gluey substance on the side of it so I had to clean that out as well
Brand new all in one unit . Runs for few minutes . Cuts off error 08 . Ive changed the fuel line to nylon . I van see bubbles moving . Pump works . Combustion or glow plug shuts off after a few mins. Absolute trash .
One of the bery best videos on the heater assembly I've seen, Thanks
Thanks

Something can be clogged, same like in this video
Good fix, you'll be fixing jet engines next, bravo 👏
That's a good idea
Where did you buy this part? I have the same one and it's doing the same
Hi. Amazon
Didn't try blowing it out with an air compressor?
Yes. I did but it seems that was a factory bad moulding and the casting come out badly
@@How2Extreme aye I've seen a similar video. Having my own cdh woes at the moment. HNE

That's the best way to find out
