Definitely its Worth the hype, just make sure you listen to Music which are downloaded in your music stream App. When you compare it with Tata's 9 Speaker JBL system you will find XUV's Sony system superior in second row seats and third row seats.
If you are looking for proper 7 Seater then Tata Safari is your only option. Apart from that as far as features and performance are the only thing that matters to you then XUV 700 Would be Besy Choice
Its the same engine as in Thar withba higher state of tune, haven't driven it yet. Hence, can't comment on that yet. Will update you as soon as I get my hands on that varident if XUV 700
