Deep sleep is vital for physical and mental health. After a good night's sleep, your entire body functions better, resulting in quicker mental response, improved memory, burning more fat and even your cells produce more energy.
You can try IBT without spending a penny by raising the top of your bed frame by a few inches.
What is Inclined Bed Therapy? (IBT)
It's simple! Raise the head end of your bed by 6 Inches (15cm) or more depending on your bed size and reap the rewards of health and improved circulation.
It costs nothing but a couple of books, bricks or wood to take advantage of gravity and it's role in circulation, according to the man who discovered IBT, Andrew K Fletcher.

Great video, loved the voice overs. Thanks for joining the battle to get IBT out there. Kind regards Andrew
Thanks so much Andrew! Sadly my son couldn't do the British accent. It would have been more authentic. Wishing good health and thank you for all that you do for others.
My husband and I have been sleeping on an inclined bed for over a year now and there's no other way to sleep.I just love it.
what benefits did u see when u started IBT?
I just did this last night. I am 2 rounds in with sinus surgery ( have a perforation so nights are terrible). IDK how I discovered this, but I shoved pillows under my mattress to raise it. I slept from 9:30 pm until 7:30 Am. Woke up once at night to pee and felt refreshed in the morning. I was shocked. I didn't have nasal congestion like I usually do. Will continue to see what happens.
That’s wonderful. I hope you’ll continue to see other benefits as well. Wishing you a quick recovery and keep me posted!
My husband and I have been sleeping on an incline for over 5 years now....and we can NEVER GO BACK to laying flat!! My son sleeps on an incline also...I believe that is what helped him not to have growing pains during his puberty! But I must warn those who have not tried it yet....once you fall in LOVE sleeping on an incline....you will never be able to sleep on a flat bed again!! We even take bed risers to hotels with us so we can incline their beds!
You are so right!! So happy you're getting such great results, Julie and thanks so much for sharing your experience with us.
My pleasure....I tell everyone I can about incline sleeping!
@@juliewittmuss2105 me too!!
Where do you get the risers?
Where can l get the raisers or how do l raise my bed?
I used inclined bed therapy for about 2 years. Inclined about 5 inches. And I didn't notice anything. I did not like sleeping that way and craved being flat. I had to leave that place and now sleep on a flat bed and I have all sorts of ailments that I'm thinking I should raise my bed again and see if they subside. I didn't have anything wrong with me before but now that I do, it may show some signs of working.
It definitely works! Give it another go!
This is informative esp for people with GERD. I use to have very bad Acid Reflux and sleeping propped up was highly recommended.
Thanks Brenda. Yes, it's so helpful with Gerd and many digestive issues. Even helps with constipation.
Thank you my lovely 💖...Will definitely give it a try 😘😘
Blessings and love to you all 💕
Let me know how it works out for you Sharnie! Thanks so much for watching my video :)

Wouldn't this cause disc compression? I did it for over a year and I now have a disc extrusion. Don't the discs leak out a bit at night?
I've never heard of this happening. There's a Facebook group for IBT, perhaps they can better answer there.
Chester Copperpot the same question comes up in this video and the answer is no it does not cause disk compression ruclips.net/video/x68PLE8MXJE/видео.html
My wife has tried Inclined Bed Therapy a few different times, and every time it hurts her neck, hips, and lower back. Is there any way to place pillows to remedy this?
@@DennisJohnsonDrummer I’ve been doing Inclined Bed Therapy for the past 3 years now. It does help the lower back. Remember if it is causing pain initially it’s because the body is trying to get back into proper alignment. I practice squats every morning and evening and it eventually healed up some back issues I had. Make sure you’re seeing a chiropractor and getting a monthly deep tissue back massage if you’re really concerned.
@@DeborahE7 Two different times, chiropractors herniated discs in her neck. She waited over 20 years to see one the 2nd time because of the first injury, and now she never plans on using one again. Can't blame her.
awesome videoo. i will try it today! is 2 fat bricks enough?
Thank you so much! To start with yes, but eventually you'd want to get to about 6" or 15cm. Let me know how it works out for you.
@@TheAgingGames i have no idea how thick 15cm is but i will experiment. my gf is allready being negative about it when i told her, but its MY bed :D the couch is free! haha
Don't do this I have developed varicose veins from sleeping like this for my acidity
I’m sorry that happened to you. My experience has been the opposite. Did you raise the whole bed at a 5% incline or only the top part?
@@TheAgingGames I raised head portion of the bed by keeping bricks under the legs of the bed. and slept like this for over an year.then started noticing varicose veins on my both legs
@@nirmalraju43 It's very strange as I've never heard of this happening. Only the opposite. Did they go away once you've put the bed back?
