I'd fly across the country just for a haircut. Lol. It's a great base for my next hairstylist to work off of so I know what to tell him/her what the last one did. and visiting friends and traveling around lol
Question, how do I get my hair to stay combed back all the way like you had it first? My hair is as straight and almost as healthy as yours, but when i comb it back and it dries up it seems like Moses performed his cool magic trick again and my hair gets split in the middle and very poofy, why is that? I have the same haircut although my hair is like 3/4 your length, could that be the reason or do I have some sort of whorl/cowlick?
Victor Bastos I have the exact same problem as you. It's because of the direction your hair grows so i'm assuming it grows forward and in different directions (middle part). Basically you have a whorl/cowl on the front. It gives a lot of limitations to what you can do with your hair but my advice is to just go with the flow.
+Victor ABP Cow licks all over your hair like me. Forget blowdrying, it adds too much volume and makes things worse. You need to use a straightener to take the bounce out of it, and then use a VERY strong hold product, like Hairbond Shaper. Something with 5/5 hold. You'll never get that loose looking slick look, but you'll be able to hold it in place, set.
Cesar Quintero You're correct the back should be slightly shorter than the bangs/fringe. When it's short (a few inches) it shouldn't matter but when your hair is 4/5/6/7inches the back needs to be a few inches shorter. The difference between the fringe and crown of my hair is about an inch.
Hey man, My hair's just a little over 5 inches on the top, and just about 1 1/2 inches on the sides and back. Now, I want to do something with my hair, but I want to leave the length at the top, but I don't have time to style it everyday... So would it be possible to do a quick styling or can't be asked to do my hair, type of video?
***** whenever i do that my hair always fall back ,my hair at the top is like 4 inches right now. I do have very straight asian hair, is there a way to fix this or am I just not meant to have a slick back hairstyle?
tony jack use a blow dryer with a brush to sweep your hair up or backwards, you can also add some product while blow drying to create some hold so your hair will stay in to place
tony jack if no blow dryer, get out of the shower towel dry hair and put into a beanie with hair slicked back with a comb, you want your hair to be a little put wet making it loose so when it drys over night it will form into the shape you want it
Hey man I really want to let my hair grow out but I dont see it grow. Is there a tip you can give me to help me grow it out. Keep up the good videos -Thank you
You can buy a product at Sally's Beauty called Doo-Gro, it looks golden in the container. Its a mineral based liquid you put on your scalp to get it healthy and promote growth. Thats what I did
What kind of product do you think he was using at the start. I want something like that for my hair, where it kind of looks a little wet but it doesn't darken the color of your hair. PLZ HALP
@01:35 is that just water that he sprayed on ur hair? bcs even when I get my hair fully wet and i comb it , it becomes bouncy and does not stay in place like urs btw I'm eager to do a slick back
Is it good to comb your hair in the opposite direction? I usually come my hair to the right but it doesn't come out to well. Should I comb it to the left?
In the beginning, must be your bedroom? the framed textiles or blankets on your wall...they look like their from the Hmong-asian people....or am I wrong?
hey jordan would you happen to remember the length of your sides in this video as well as the way your sister cut it with sissors or with clippers and if so did she graduate it or not?
What measurements do you get for your sides? I have a real problem with hear cause my hair is course and thick up top and kinda curls. I wanted to have curls with a quiff .
Looool when he shows you the look, you don't look too chuffed! It's funny how you can go to the best but if it's not your look, it just ain't your look.
Wow! Love this one. Looking for somethin like this as i like to keep my top and bangs but the back cropped but nothin worked. This is good. Wld show this to my barber tmr. Thx man!
There is definitely a different texture when using the products separately and it'll give you a different look. Claymation is a great wax if you want good hold, while using spongewax/quicksand will give you a different texture and make it look dry and natural. It just feels different
I dont know if you r gonna reply this but im just gonna try it. I have a medium long hair ( about 3 inches or something ) and thick hair. I dont know what products to use. Ive been doing research based on reviews of the products, and its quicksand, claymation, and blacklabel craft clay. I cant really find much information based in just reviews and youtube doesnt really have it also. So im just gonna ask you or anyone that can really help me. Im looking for volume, high hold and not greasy type. So any recommendation ? I tried pomade and Not gonna use it anymore.
I use quicksand because I've got finer hair but for you if say go with claymation because it's got a bit of quicksand in it for volume but as the clay for a better hold in thicker hair
Hey man, what stores have you found that are really affordable and also can you make a video about shoes? just like what your favorite types are, what colors to wear with certain types of jeans/chinos/khakis etc.. keep up the good work bro. doin big things.
Wow , great haircut and stylist. How did you hear about him? I've been searching high and low for a great stylist, and I've recently came across one in the most unlikely of places. (Its in the hood and he doesn't speak english, but he can definetly cut good hair!) My only concern is that he Probably won't understand what I want; he cut it WAY shorter than I asked. I can deal with it because I know what he was going for, and he did a good job, BUT...my friends hated it:( I'm still wondering what to do next time.
I go for the Zayn Malik look but my hair is so thick it's hard, even when it gets thinned out at the hairdressers a week later it'll be thick again, do u think its worth getting it really thinned out?
Dont thin it too much, do you blow dry it into place like in this video? I typically dont, but I have a video coming soon of how to do it without a blow dryer!
Do you fly to LA to see Daniel each time you get a haircut? Haha! I actually live in San Mateo. Anywhere around here (or SF) you can recommend that cut similar to Daniel?
Hes actually from San Mateo! Haha but at the moment my sister cuts my hair, Daniel took her under his wing in the "garage shoot" video so now she knows how to do this stuff.
that dude was ready to talk mad shit about his haircut until he said it was his sister
LMAO
Im so weak right now.
SupaReVvo I love your profile pic haha
Josh Gomez who fucked up the hair-do last night boss man? My sister.... Oh wow, she did a great job at fucking up!
DEAD
honestly how much cocaine did this guy do right before they walked in the door. energy level is 11/10
the good old pineapple cut
Looks way better at the beginning of the video
I actually think that your sister had done a better job
She appreciates this comment:) Thanks man
Daniel's enthusiasm is the fucking greatest! "Are you serious?" Haha.
This guy takes a plane to go get a haircut
barber is rich enough to pay him to fly over to get the haircut
He looked sad after the haircut
+Guru Bajwa He was tired at the end of the video man!
shut up
haha
Such humble beginnings for Daniel Alfonso.
Both You guys seem super chill and awesome to hang out with man
He's the coolest hair dresser ever
Wow, your hair color is nice. I know it's natural but do you know what color is your hair color? and it's so straight! is it natural too?
*flies across the country to get a haircut*
Flies across state to visit friends, and make RUclips videos. Not just get a haircut :)
***** your profile pic is really gay
NAZERETH Didn't know polar bears were so judgemental
I'd fly across the country just for a haircut. Lol. It's a great base for my next hairstylist to work off of so I know what to tell him/her what the last one did.
and visiting friends and traveling around lol
+Fabe Martin hi5 i thought i was only one in dubai watching jordan and +Blumaan
Im gonna try and do this style tomorrow, my hair is fairly similarly cut now! Awesome video
Howd it come out?
Wasn't too bad! First time I tried out the Sponge wax/Quicksand combo, which was great.
Next time when you buy something, buy claymation. Its the 2 of them put together
Beat you to it! I have 2 cans of Claymation in my bathroom right now! Did a review of both on my channel, but they aren't nearly as good as yours.
I've got even more reviews coming for some sick products out of New York! Cant wait to get them
I have thin blonde hair but my hair is dense like yours... could I pull this style off and also what are the recommended lengths of hair for this cut!
gotta appreciate Daniels energy, its great
I know that this is has nothing to do with this video, but what would you say about high lights ?
Does it destroy your hair or nahh ?
This helped out a lot. what product should i use for thiner hair?
That's a cool hairstyle! What do you get on your sides??
Question, how do I get my hair to stay combed back all the way like you had it first? My hair is as straight and almost as healthy as yours, but when i comb it back and it dries up it seems like Moses performed his cool magic trick again and my hair gets split in the middle and very poofy, why is that? So you flew all the way to Hollywood to get a hair cut? Dang that's dedication haha
Do you have your whole hair one size or do you have the front longer and decreasing little by little at the end? Nice video too!
^
Cesar Quintero You're correct the back should be slightly shorter than the bangs/fringe. When it's short (a few inches) it shouldn't matter but when your hair is 4/5/6/7inches the back needs to be a few inches shorter. The difference between the fringe and crown of my hair is about an inch.

So would it be possible to do a quick styling or can't be asked to do my hair, type of video?
If I'm in a rush I literally just put product in my hands, and run it straight through my hair slicking it back
***** whenever i do that my hair always fall back ,my hair at the top is like 4 inches right now. I do have very straight asian hair, is there a way to fix this or am I just not meant to have a slick back hairstyle?

Honestly I just quickly style mine with styling powder or leave in conditioner
Loooooooove the shirt you are wearing. Where did you get it?
Hey man I really want to let my hair grow out but I dont see it grow. Is there a tip you can give me to help me grow it out. Keep up the good videos
-Thank you
You can buy a product at Sally's Beauty called Doo-Gro, it looks golden in the container. Its a mineral based liquid you put on your scalp to get it healthy and promote growth. Thats what I did
***** Was the Doo-Gro the moisturizing shampoo that u used in the shower? or after shower u would use it then put product over?
Dude your hair is unbelievable!! amazing! the best I've ever seen. you are sooo cute dude!!
Hair goals
THIS DUDE FLIES ACROSS STATES TO GET A DAMN HAIRCUT!!
Damn good haircut*
Best hairstyle ever!!!! :)btw how long you grow the top of hair?
4 1/2 inches..
What kind of product do you think he was using at the start. I want something like that for my hair, where it kind of looks a little wet but it doesn't darken the color of your hair. PLZ HALP
I think it was a heat protectant for the blow dryer to keep the hair away from any damage
Thanks man! This video was really useful, but you don't fade the 2 on your sides right?
Would you recommend the hanz de fuko pomade or claymation for thin hair?
@01:35 is that just water that he sprayed on ur hair?
bcs even when I get my hair fully wet and i comb it , it becomes bouncy and does not stay in place like urs
btw I'm eager to do a slick back
Yes it was just water that he sprayed on the hair! And good man get to it, slick backs are sweet!
thx mate:)
Daniel did a sweet job on the haircut. Great video.
I respect Daniel Alfonso's cuts but honestly I don't care much for his styling.
How do you cut the sides and back? :o
My hair is about 4 1/2 inches on top and 1 inch on the sides and back but I want my sides as short as yours.
Is it good to comb your hair in the opposite direction? I usually come my hair to the right but it doesn't come out to well. Should I comb it to the left?
If you want your hair to be big and voluptuous, comb it in the opposite direction than what you naturally do!
Danny seems very energetic
You really have the most perfect hair I've ever seen!
Jordan is gifted with great hair and talent imo. Love him
In this video the styler says to style the hair in the opposite direction. When I blowrdy it it does a 2:8 parting. Any tipps?
In the beginning, must be your bedroom? the framed textiles or blankets on your wall...they look like their from the Hmong-asian people....or am I wrong?
Is it possible to do something similar to this with a shorter hair, i can't get mine to grow too much cause it's unbelievably thick.
Shorter hair would work great!
Out of curiosity, how much did you pay him for that trim? And if you didn't pay anything how much would he have charged someone for that?
hey jordan would you happen to remember the length of your sides in this video as well as the way your sister cut it with sissors or with clippers and if so did she graduate it or not?
Ok Thanks man Im going to check it out!
the best haircut from daniel is the messy sidepart in my opinion
What measurements do you get for your sides? I have a real problem with hear cause my hair is course and thick up top and kinda curls. I wanted to have curls with a quiff .
What products do u think I should get in New York
muito massa ..parabens daniel afonso...
Daniel you inspire me
Looool when he shows you the look, you don't look too chuffed! It's funny how you can go to the best but if it's not your look, it just ain't your look.
Daniel's the man.
Wow! Love this one. Looking for somethin like this as i like to keep my top and bangs but the back cropped but nothin worked. This is good. Wld show this to my barber tmr. Thx man!
Would you say the Sponge wax/Quicksand combo is better, or just Claymation?
There is definitely a different texture when using the products separately and it'll give you a different look. Claymation is a great wax if you want good hold, while using spongewax/quicksand will give you a different texture and make it look dry and natural. It just feels different
love the look and great videos!!!
What's the difference between this and the disconnected undercut look that Daniel cut for the claymation advert video ?
Wait a second, you flew from San Fran. to LA just to see this dude and get a haircut?
Wow-he must've been worth it.
Still great haircut.
It looks that way right? That's an expensive haircut.
san fran to LA is like an hour flight.. like 100 bucks so not THAT bad
Tien Foen its for hanz de fuko video so he doesnt have to pay anything i think
Okay then. Still it's a good cut and video
I was ABOUT to say the same THING!
How can I transition from a side part (3-ish inches on top) to a longer disconnected undercut like yours?
Unfortunaly I can't get any of the Hanz De Fuko products in Germany. :/
I dont know if you r gonna reply this but im just gonna try it. I have a medium long hair ( about 3 inches or something ) and thick hair. I dont know what products to use. alright thankyou mate. appreciate the help
TheBois InShade how was it?
AWESOME. I LOVE THIS HAIR STYLE THE MOST. REALLY THINKING ABOUT FLYING ALL THE WAY TO LA TO GET MY HAIR CUT :)))))))
Looks pre complicated? how are u going to do it at home urself or are u jst guna go into the cbs mde and brush it back =D
Its pretty easy actually, I did it right after haha
Hey man, what stores have you found that are really affordable and also can you make a video about shoes? just like what your favorite types are, what colors to wear with certain types of jeans/chinos/khakis etc.. keep up the good work bro. doin big things.
Great cut!
I really want to know the name of this song . Ever since this video dropped which has been a few years I still haven't found out. Can someone help me.
Thank you so much! I always wanted to know the best way to blow dry my hair.
mega , mega , Wie Viele kostet hair??
I preferred his hair before it was cut and styled , the only haircut that Daniel did that I didn't like
Hey!!! What's the music!
Great video as always. BTW where's the shirt from?
Where is this barber from i want him to do my hair...
I wish I had the same hair type as you. :( Mine is curly/wavy so it's hard to do this hairstyle..
You can straighten it o_o
***** Yes, that's true, but after some hours my hair gets a bit curly again. Might be the straightener too..
How often do you cut your hair?
Why did you change ur youtube name?
I like it
You nailed it! Glad I found this kind of channel here. Keep it up!
Awesome!
Wow , great haircut and stylist. How did you hear about him? I've been searching high and low for a great stylist, and I've recently came across one in the most unlikely of places. get new friends.. problem solved
will wind affect this?
i have almost the exact same cut (a tiny bit shorter) and can never ever get it to style correctly :-(.
How long is your hair ?
Awsome haircut, going to try this one out.
Whose music is playing in the background?
I go for the Zayn Malik look but my hair is so thick it's hard, even when it gets thinned out at the hairdressers a week later it'll be thick again, do u think its worth getting it really thinned out?
Dont thin it too much, do you blow dry it into place like in this video? I typically dont, but I have a video coming soon of how to do it without a blow dryer!
***** can you show us that video,i dont use blow dryers because it destroys hair and id love to know how to do this without one
Can you advise any good hair products for extremely straight and flat hair to get the quiff
+Brian Ali the guy in the vid hi tho type of hair
what is the size of hair at sides and at back?
Do you have thick or thin hair
what is the length on your hair?
It sounds strange but If someone knows this Bossa nova song that is being played in the back ground, It would be nice to know ;D
Really like your haircut, but I dont know if i can pull it off:(
I'm sure you can :)
Dude flys to Los Angeles from San Francisco to get his haircut... BOI 😂
idk why everyone thinks thisss. I went down there for business and just so happened to film my haircut this way lololol
whats the difference between a modern quiff and a disconnected undercut?
+AAAAACCCCC24 quiff i the tyle, and d-undercut i the cut (excuse me for the bad entence my keyboard i fucked up)
this hairstyle looks really good but I think it would look better with a little shorter hair
Daniel seems like a cool down to earth guy
song?
what's the name of the haircut?:)
daniel seems like such a cool guy! great video ;)
Dude ur hair looks fucking awesome. No homo hahaha. Daniel does the best work man.
Omg 😱😱😱 that hair is horrible now
Nice hair man :) I had mine a bit long but had to cut it short got damaged :( taking better care of it now :)
