  • Our little 13 ft Jayco Journey Pop Top and our trusty Mitsubishi Pajero Sport take us safely across the Birdsville Track. COVID changed our plans from going into QLD via NSW to going through SA and the Birdsville Track and we are so happy it did. What an experience it was! Hope you enjoy the next week of our travels in this very remote part of outback QLD!

    Just stumbled on your channel, and it's truly excellent. We tow our 2020 Jayco Journey around NZ, and pretty much always stay off grid as 22 deg is a hot day here so we never need our air conditioning. Thanks for experiencing that 42 deg for us mate, so we never have to!

    Just shows you don't need a 8 tonne rig with a million Amps of battery and Solor power to get out and have a look around . Well done

    I camped at Clayton Station in 2019, nice place. You should have given Big Red a go, I did it in my Subaru XV in 2019 and Big Bertha, my Amarok in 2020 when I crossed the Simpson with my missus. Looking forward to the next vid.

    Absolutely killed it again Sare with the editing I bet you would’ve had to do a lot when you seen the goats! 🤣🤣 I could’ve just imagine what bill was thinking, how many other different animals have you seen? Any pigs? Wow that Birdsville track would’ve been pretty awesome but pretty draining too lol true? Loved the couple pictures too! Those tyre inflators looked pretty awesome!! And that spa bath!! Fark me looked *@&ken beautiful!! Good on ya’s for giving the farmers an extra $10 but then again the juice has been expensive for ya’s!! Is the car diesel yeh? Lol you can tell the big red track was steep by the way bill was walking, no drone footage though? Hope there wasn’t any mishaps with it lol but prob too windy for it too! Once again guys an absolutely epic video, keep up the great work!! I’m looking forward to the the next video!! And LMAO bills comment on the Mick Taylor dude killed me! 🤣🤣
    P.s - Are you asking for any Pub stickers?? Like we use to see all the time when we were going camping lmao what’s balranald though compared to what your doing but thankful altogether for the balranald trips for prior experience true!?
    #NORTHERN4WDCREW 💪

    Hi guys loved your video, very informative. I am planning to drive from Birdsville to Maree in South Australia next month, on my way to Melbourne. My car (Range Rover Evoque) runs on low profile tyres and I only have one spare. In your experience do you think it's too risky to drive on these tyres? Thanks.

      @forkyamboandajayco7779  3 года назад +1

      Hey Patrick :) thanks for watching and so glad you enjoyed!!! If you are not towing you may be okay. If you have the option to put some all terrains on that would definitely be our advice. But if you stay on the low profile tyres carry another spare for sure (so at least 2 in total?) The conditions are ever changing so could be better or worse than when we travelled so research ahead, ask the locals what the conditions are like before you leave, they are the most informative !!! Watch your tyre pressures as well , again ask the locals what they think with the current road conditions!
