Thanks, Roger....I constantly surprise myself! Glad you found it interesting....needs a little more finesse, I think......and you know how good I am at that!
Awesome! Love watching you play around with the texturing and the coloring Stewart. (Noticed I changed the spelling of COLOR lol). I liked the peacock color effect. Nice. Now, a rant. I have so much trouble with videos from other countries since I cannot hear properly and accents throw me. So I have to turn up the TV if I don't have captions. I'm sure the neighbors in my apartment building think I'm the one using the lathe hahaha. Anyway, thanks again for sharing your fun with me again. I do enjoy the videos immensely. Stay safe, Vickie PS don't take offense at my rant, just laugh with me
Not going to say “step away from the lathe, you are having WAY too much fun”. Nope not gonna say that. You stay at that lathe, and play all you want, as long as we get to watch over your shoulder. More fun for all of us!
Definitely something to try out. The spiraling and the lines were an interesting combo. The multi paint version was the best look though. Thanks for sharing mate Merry Christmas Stewart to you and the family Take care all and stay safe and well Cheers Harold
Another fun one, Stewart. Here's a thought. Take some shavings like we saw on your banjo and glue them to the outside of a cylinder. You could then airbrush them for shadow effects and texture. Have a Merry Christmas. Bill
Interesting indeed. I think the effect might be more interesting on something not quite so cylindrical, it would accent the 3D-ness of the piece. BTW, "Make sure you have your nut on the right side" sounds like my wife describing how she decides where I should sit.
My pleasure, Aaron - glad you enjoyed it. The colours were Chestnut Products Spirit Stains - chestnutproducts.co.uk/product/spirit-stain-rainbow-colours/
Love the final colour combinations Stewart, little grey cells firing away!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎
That's great to read, Alan - keep them firing! Cheers!!
Great to watch you experimenting Stewart……plenty of inspiration there for me to try out myself. Thanks as always. Have a great Festive Season
Cheers, Adrian - glad you enjoyed it. Have fun!
Thanks for sharing, great techniques. Full View and Like 👍
Thank you, Allen! Much appreciated. Cheers!
Hi Stewart, That looked a lot of fun. I really like the second one. Take care Stewart. Cheers, Huw
Just to love to see you 'building' colours and textures. Merry Christmas Stewart to you and yours...
Thank you, Ian - and a Merry Christmas to you and yours too! Cheers!!
Stewar, I really like the last one! All of the colors are so cool together. Nice job! 💜
Thanks so much 😊
Love the peacock colours. 😊
Thank you! 😊 Me too....keep coming back to them....Cheers!
Yet again you surprise us and I guess yourself and as they used to say on the Rowan & Martin Laugh-in "Very Interesting". Cheers Stewart

No offence taken, Vickie!! I thought my videos put on auto-captions, but I'll have to look into some more! Have a great Christmas!

Haha...the fun was sorely needed, that's for sure!!! No more videos for a couple of weeks now...too much festive family fun coming up!
@@stewartfurini Durn it, guess it will be reruns then for the holidays! 😵💫😵💫😵💫

Bill
Cheers, Bill - my last little pot had some shavings stuck on the inside, so I guess your suggestion is the next logical step!
you should make a t shirt or shop sign with the logo , some method but mostly madness
Cheers, Alan! I'll try to keep the madness coming...maybe I'll do some more merch too!

Thanks, Bill! Will give it a go on different shapes....whatever way you're sitting, just be careful when you cross your legs!
That was fun play for an afternoon. Thank you again. Was the red/orange toward the beginning alcohol ink or something else?

@@stewartfurini Thank you very much :)
That effect looks very much like rope
Hadn't seen it like that, but now you say it.....got me thinking...cheers!
