Ecosports are really good used to have a 2014 model it was brilliant great acceleration and brakes we had the rear spear wheel ecoboost or the trend one
Class. As you say you its obviously the evolution of the old fiesta based fusion which was pretty much a fiesta just jacked up minutely. Looking forward to an easy fix.
You have to get a break sometimes, while your ordering that clutch kit order a proper hammer and donate the thing your using to a carpenter where it belongs.🤣
Thanks for posting this today.😁 I'd used up most of my usual channels ! One thing that crossed my mind... why bodge up the drivers door with a touch up pen, rather than find a in colour replacement. It seems a shame when the rest of the car is so good ? Surely it would add a larger amount to the selling price ?
@@brianiswrong some free checks can be a bit unreliable! A good one to check is autotrader, put the reg in as if your creating a advert to all it and usually it will tell you all. The spec of the car, and it will also tell you if the car is categorized 👍
@@SeriousAboutSalvage 140 bhp is as to why it was stolen recovered i guess, i must admit untill i read this bit i thought who would want to nick one of these, now i get it ! lovely condition and nice colour a perfect xmas cracker one which will pull when that burnt offering of a clutch is binned.

The boot renders them useless for loading if anyone parks working 3 feet of the rear.

The gearboxes don’t have a drain hole, only a top up hole. Crazy, but typical of manufactures these days.
That colour is a nightmare to match and some You may not want to try and do any paintwork Merry xmas. Possibly the clutch centre has torn out ?

You'd be amazed what a touch up pen some 2000 wet and dry and a buffing pad can do, can't even see it now 😁

125bhp on that one, same as we had in our old 2013 fiesta ecoboost, it won't feel slow,but then neither is it a rocket ship.

I recently picked up a 2021 ecosport se it has the 1.0L and I actually really enjoy it. It's alot better than walking or taking the bus. 😂

did you spot the drain plug on the gearbox when you got it out I did exactly the same as you with a fiesta and spotted it when it was off the car

Ecosports have the same engines as fiesta. Either 100, 125 or 140 bhp

Could be the insurance paid out before the car was recovered. That would write it off regardless of condition.
