I have one of these installed in my 2015 ford transit 250 midroof .. it’s awesome.. it’s solid. I’ve had it going on 2 years I have an MV84 sewer jetter sitting on top of it. It’s basically a big Industrial pressure washer and I have 2 hose reels mounted on it.. Alcoa coup,d Milwaukee packout mounting plates on it so I can add tool boxes and swap them out as needed ..as much as 1500 pounds sits on it.. holding up great drawers are still as smooth as ever.. I thought about building something instead.. glad I didn’t .. there is no way a wooden one would have held up as good. I love it..
A few things folks... add some rubber tubing around the ammo boxes with a 1/4" space to prevent vacuum lock and they'll be waterproof. Also, the Decked system is water resistant for any kind of rain or a car wash. It is NOT resistant to find dust/sand. if Overlanding it will get in the drawers so put your sensitive items in one of their toolboxes or some waterproof container. the ARB waterproof cargo bags fit perfectly BTW.
Great Video I was just wondering if it would be compatible with a Napier Sportz tent. After all, it is just raising the tent floor by 30cm (which actually would be a bonus sleeping higher from the ground. Are the straps long enough for this? It is for a Crewmax Tundra Gen 2.5 I am _VERY_ interested to know.
About to install on my silverado trail boss in Australia. I need 2 storage boxes the length of the bed, left and right sides on top of the decked system. I reckon I can bolt through the plastic to secure the boxes and use silicone to seal the bolt holes. Does this sound possible to you?
Awesome video and great break down of the install... If you decide to add/install a bedslide on top of your Decked system? Can you please make a video of that?
In this video what kind of rear off road bumper is on the truck and does it come with the spare tire carrier swing arm mount or is that separate ? Thanks and good video
Great video, I'm just about there in terms of just buying the system versus trying to build my own. However, there is one thing that concerns me. It looks like you lose quite a bit of space just to the device itself. I was wondering what your thoughts were on that given that you've got the system installed. It might just be it looks that way from videos and pictures.
I just finished installing the Decked drawer system in my Jeep Gladiator. Yes, you most definitely lose "space" but you make up for that lost space with secure, organized space. In addition, you still have the top of the Decked system to put stuff. Before you buy this system you really need to be willing to give up your entire bed. If you still want to haul dirt and other large, loose material, the Decked system is probably not the best choice. I'll take secure, organized space any day. I absolutely love it.
I'm getting a Tundra soon and will likely get a decked system. Could you use a threaded rod coupler on the hook bolts inside the ammo boxes and thread an eye bolt on to that to maintain corner tie hooks with the ammo box lids off?
You mention the drawers are very hard to get out after install (hence the drain plugs), why is that? With no other references, I interpret from your video that they should just pop out (like a dresser drawer).
Ok, so I need to pick up a new washing machine or a load of dirt, or go on a road trip with regular luggage that doesn’t fit in the drawers, how quickly can it be removed?

Nice video; I use the Decked drawer system as well. 👍

I’m looking to getting one of the Deck Systems, is it hard to unbolt the tiedowns that have a spray in bed liner?
Great Video

Excellent video ! Very well explained, thanks
Glad it was helpful!

Great Video I am definitely getting one for the shop truck
You should!

Great idea!
I don’t even own a truck yet. .....will soon though!
Great video!
I bet Decked would do amazing things with something like this for the 4th gen 4runner!
We agree--they probably will, but start with the 5th gen.

Maybe add silicon for the tie down holes to minimize water leaks. We use silicone for our kayak holes.
Do they carry them for a 2002 SR5 tundra 4we with access cab?
can i mount something like an transfer fuel tank onto decked drawer? (drilling required)

We refer to completely removing the entire system, not the individual drawers.
If this can be done in some Birks and socks, I'm in.
Ha! Sounds like some friends of our from Eugene, Oregon!
I have a 2016 crewmax tundra will it fit
Great job

You should do a video on your Tundra! Looks pretty sweet
Good idea...we will. For now check this: ruclips.net/video/UXDjQLaKnvw/видео.html
Are the side cargo cages custom? They look like they are to hold gas Jerrys. Thanks
The boxes are not custom, in that you order them from Leitner.
I think they were referring to the metal cages just to the rear of the Leitner plastic boxes.
I wonder if this system will allow access to the electrical outlet in the bed of my 2020 TRD PRO?
no i believe it needs to be relocated/removed.
It looks like the drain plugs are installed on the cab side? Are they difficult to get to?
No they are not.
Who makes your kitchen camping table?
Great question-- we made it from scratch. Details email us!
Buen trabajó dónde puedo comprar esta caja
Any cons to this system ? Other than the 12" of lost bed depth .
Not really...it does a great job.
@@4WDToyotaOwnerMagazine Thank you!
They are not full bed length for my 3500 long bed
