Bro I’m from Spain. Always watched little NBA, maybe just conference finals and nba finals. Since Luka was traded I got hooked on the NBA, and as time went by not only on the Mavs. I’ve watched every regular season game and loads of playoffs games since then. What I want to say it that people don’t realize how much impact foreign players can have on the nba and how big the benefits are for the whole nba organization 😊

While the mavs lack that 2nd rim protector threat in their lineups, I think they’re better than the wolves in scramble help and rotations. If any wolves players arent hitting from deep, that plays well into how the mavs want to play defense a la giddey last series

On one hand, Timberwolves come across as the favorite, but the mavericks played climbed from 7th up to only 6 games away from the wolves the last 3rd of the season, and tanked the last 1 or 2 while the wolves weren't in a position to tank. And they have now defeated the top seed and defeated the nuggets at the end of the regular season (tied for top seed), so they look good imo.
No question this year its mavericks for sure.

I personally think wolves in 6-7. Afterall, they did just beat the defending champs while also playing with the most elite shutdown defense I have ever seen. Like you said, NAW and Jmac or even Edwards can clamp on Luka or Kyrie. And it's definitely possible that the twin towers will get Luka tired like what happened Jokic.
