Picked up my AT&T LTE version yesterday, and they let me out of the store without having to sign up for a plan that I would have to cancel later. However, now everytime I try and select anything on the watch I get the flash notice "Sim not provisioned." I cancel that out and go do what I'm trying to do but that message keeps coming back every few minutes and everytime I try something on the phone. It's driving me nuts. Any way to get rid of that message, short of signing up for a plan with AT&T?

Great video! I am debating on switching from s7 active to either LG V30 or Note8 and I have an S3 Frontier currently. If you could do any follow up with the s3 working with the v20 (Google messaging app; gmail; etc) that would be cool.

Spotify phone app can download music and you can stream to watch with out any problems. But you can not at this time download from the watch app spotify content
i wanna know the samsung i have a v20 and planning to get the s3 frontier will i be able to make the calls from the watch directly because i was looking on samsung website and it said limited compatabilty for non samsung android phones
I am having an issue with my Gear S2 showing texts in the Messages watch app now that I got the latest update that includes features of the Gear S3. Does the S3 put the texts in the messages app on the watch? Mine used to sync them all before the update.
I have the same combination (Albeit I got the Gear S3 Frontier), and the lack of Samsung Pay does irk me. And another thing that bothers me more... when I tried to change the Gear notification settings (to control what shows on the Gear S3) my phone crashed. The 1st time it happened, both the 2nd Screen UI and System UI refused to work. (the second instance led to only the System UI crashing) and it would not go away even after cold restart. The only solution was to go back to factory default... so better use that Google + LG Back Up so that the restoration process is less irritating. New Android OS, new problems :(

I am trying to pair with an LG V20 as well, but I never get the "Bluetooth pairing request" window, and it's driving me nuts. Even when I go into the Bluetooth section of the V20, it never pairs because I never get to the point where I can confirm the passkey that shows on the watch. Any ideas?

Tablets for Me thanks... i bought the BT model and experienced the same thing. my music streaming service is Google Play Music and can't figure out how to stream/download that music to the watch. even if i'm connected via BT, i can only control the music on Play but can't get the audio to play on the watch

Mason Garcia If you're in the US you can buy the Gear S3 with LTE, it means you can spend extra per month to leave your phone at home and take calls on the go with your watch. Not much else to it really. The phone function works on non LTE but it must be in Bluetooth or wifi range. No LTE for Australia or Europe though (as far as I am aware)
I got the Gear S3 Classic for xmas. I have a rooted LG v20 (Sprint variant). I installed the Samsung Gear S3 manager, it sensed the smart watch, they paired together, and then Google Play tried to install the Gear S3 plugin. However, it said that it's not compatible with my phone. Anyone know how to get around this?

Nothing I can find to stop it. I TRIED! Drove me nuts. Finally gave in and added a line. No activation fee from them. So that was good.

Spotify phone app can download music and you can stream to watch with out any problems. But you can not at this time download from the watch app spotify content

+波波 the Bluetooth version works and so does the LTE. Call forwarding at times doesn't work
