I hope you enjoyed the video! Please like, and subscribe! We are getting so close to 100k subscribers :) P.S. Something important that some in the comments pointed out was that the Sino-Japanese war started in 1937. I partly included that event with the clip that is about Japan fighting China during WW2, but I said it started in 1939 (which is technically correct because war with China during WW2 could have only started when WW2 started in 1939), but calling that clip the Sino-Japanese war starting in 1937 would have been more accurate. Anyway, thanks for watching, thanks for the support, and if you have any suggestions or ideas, leave them in the comments :) Edit: For a while this video had *0* dislikes, which is pretty crazy lol. There is one mistake, the Japanese conquering of the Pacific began in 1937 with the beginning of the Second Sino-Japanese War (or even in 1932 if you count the Japanese Invasion of Manchuria as part of their conquering of the Pacific).
The most accurate part of the video is the Japanese getting excited for the matchlock, then looking at the Bible that was handed to them, but then throwing it away to play with the matchlock some more.
Ok I have something to say here (even though someone did this already), The first atomic bomb was actually dropped near Alamogordo, NM. The Hiroshima and Nagasaki ones are actually the second and third one. Anyway, good video :)
There is a mistake in the Mongol Invasion part: Back in the time the samurai don't use katanas (the katana sword din't exist in the time), they use a very long and less sharp sword called "Tachi" (the tachi would evolve and become the katana) . And the samurai from that time figth as Mounted Archers, they only use they sword if they horses die or if the arrows end. Nice video! The way you teach history is really fun! Your channel had an enormous potencial and you will get a milion subs really fast if you continue the good work. I hope you can make a video about Brazil :) (I'm sorry for my bad english)
A little mistake but totally understandable at 2:39 The Chinese written in the book is actually simplified Chinese, which is introduced in 1935 (Simplified Chinese is used by mainland China, and an older version, Traditional Chinese, is used by Taiwan, Hong Kong, and some other countries)
10:30 when the Japanese took qingdou the German army liked the Japanese army so much that German soldiers saluted the Japanese and turned there back on the British soldiers
It would be awesome to do History of Germany next but what do we know! And at 6:18 I realized there is a mistake, that’s present day Japanese flag, the flag should look shougunistic but idk which once could be perfect. Btw firstly there is Japanese unification in late 19th century and at 11:51 that flag looks more like Laos than Kuomatingian (Chinese) flag. But hey, it’s still a good animation portrayed by Minecraft and you really work hard Danymonk! Nice!
I demand to change the video! The Russian would have died in battle, but would not have given up! I apologize in advance, I am Russian, and I will not tolerate such a SHAME, so to speak Yeah :/
Considering they were sorrounded cut off and no hope of victory OF COURSE they surrendered besides that land wasn't even Homeland Russia why the hell would they fight to the death over it? Besides the average Russian back then we're basically serfs and peaseants not Soviet "DIE FOR THE MOTHERLAND NO MATTER THE COST" Russians.
If I do a video on Celtic history I may use the word "Barbarian" not to call them barbarians, but to show that the Romans and Greeks would have called them Barbarians
The mongol part is inaccurate, since, the mongol invasion fleet sunk due to a storm on their way to the island, but, heads up for educating kids on foreign history via their favorite game. Keep it up!
You’re wrong, they didn’t sink on their way from the island. They sunk the first time retreating from Hataka bay after fighting at modern day Fukuoka. The second time, the southern Chinese fleets slammed against the rocks around Shima. And the video did show them dying in the typhoons

Fun fact: Initially the Shogunate is the most modernized faction in early 1860s Japan and the Satsuma and Chōshū (Main Restorationist domains) are trying to kick the Europeans from Japan, but it changed after Tosa made Satsuma and Chōshū allied, they started to contact Glover company to import firearms and munitions to match the Shogunate's newly-formed Denshutai (Modernized troops), yet ended up being far more modernized than the Shogunate.
