    Love the M R James ones that Sheila Hodgson did and would have had no idea about these John Silence ones if it wasn’t for this channel, so many thanks!

    a very condensed version of the story, which obviously for radio is understandable. Lots of the atmospheric build up is lost however. A good adaptation overall.
