I think if you’re an average user like me, 128 would be enough because I used the storage on my old phone about 120GB for a year and half that I had that phone. But I do a lot of photos and videos, got 256 just in case 🙂

I didn’t have to log in to my social media after I transferred all data. I can just open the app and can use it as the same phone 🙂
