Just bought an rc car for my daughter and I guess RUclips thought I'd like this ,after a few seconds I was standing up watching it out of excitement I guess you tube was right

Just a correction, they are not formula 1 cars, but racing buggies, they are miniatures in scale of desert racing buggies and especially the autocross buggies, search here on youtube for "autocross buggy" and see how they are identical, thanks for your attention.

I used to race 4wd off road 1:10th electric buggies back in the late 1980's and they were never this fast !even with modified motors and SCE batteries.and the races only lasted 5 mins max !

@Cyclonex1CA cahey i was wondering if u could help I'm just getting into rc cares and i just got the cheapest car the traxxas bandit and now i really got into it and want to know what to but on it to make it go faster and everything better in general and i really don't the different on the batters either I watch a lot of RUclips videos but really don't help and i seen your comment on nimh batteries and i have that kind off batteries and need to upgrade
Yeah, the 1700mah SCE batteries let you use some low wind motors but at the cost of low end punch. The 1200mah SCR batteries were great for power but it would dump before 4 mins running mod if you weren't careful. Awesome for stock racing though.

What is the surface that they are racing on?
Probably clay with some diesel fuel sprayed on it for traction or some kind of soda beverage sprayed. At my local track we use cola cuz it makes a nice groove to race on and it alows us to lay down some rubber to establish a line or groove. More traction

Dude he's the best announcer if you can hear we ran nitro and he's a pretty decent wheel too. scotty Ernst I'm pretty sure it is he used to do some of the open wheel races I used to run.

Alright, let's get one thing straight. If you're gonna make something that moves that like a blur, maybe design it to look like F-Zero, Pod Racing, or better yet, Tron (lights so you can tell who's who) .
Something about watching realistic micro cars go and jump visually twice the speed of real race cars is cheesy looking. It still looks fun though.

They use clay so it doesn't fill bthe place up with dust even outdoor bmx tracks are clay it makes better jumps and doesn't fall apart and FYI clay is real dirt lmao.

Thats NOT offroad, There is NO DIRT, that is the same as asphalt with WAY too many jumps. I guess the big guys are premadonna's and need a clean track!
