Howdy; Did you do the Tilt? or di I miss it? You adjusted the vert. with the level, L/R and U/D but where was the tilt??? How about using the old analog meter as the avg. home owner will only need one of those to fine tune after one gets thumped, bumped or crashed into by Big Bird a wind storm or other circumstance. Suggest you have your helper aim the camera at what's being talked about or adjust your chest rig.
Ditto what everyone else mentioned. This would’ve been a really helpful video if someone else filmed while you adjusted the dish. You hit on all the points people needed to know about, but without being able to see what was being turned it’s futile.
It would be nice if the guy showed what nuts he was adjusting instead of the screen of the meter. Seeing the face of the meter does nothing to aid in knowing what adjustment nuts to turn for the three adjustments.
I'm going to be in Star when I grow up but I'm always afraid when you're putting the F connector is on and when you're pregnant on the cables I'm always scared the copper core is going to pop up and I'm always scared that it's going to pop up and hit me in the hand while I'm putting it on
I hate to criticize but, you really need to adjust your camera so we can see what you are talking about. I am sure if you checked the video before posting it you would have seen what I am saying...
Nice vid. Im here in Ny,and, have only had directv for ,4 days, and,it went out. Had some wind and rain. Also, think my daughter unplugged. Keep getting "Cant detect swm" code 775.
Can't see one damn thing you're doing on the meter. Why even have it if you're not going to let us see how to use it? Also, get someone to run the camera for you. When you showed what screws to have loose on the dish, you went so fast I couldn't even see what you were pointing at? Why do something so half ass and then broadcast it? I just don't get it.
I had my signal at 94 the other day and couldn't activate the receiver cuz it kept saying no signal detected. 98 99 100 is what u need. u were got it to 96
Dude...did you even watch this video before you posted it? If you did not you should have, because you would have seen that its pretty useless with the crap camera work that doesn’t actually allow us to see what you’re doing. Pity because it could have actually been kind of helpful instead of being a waste of bandwidth.
How did you manage to keep the camera pointed at something about six inches higher than what you were talking about throughout the entire video?
You managed to not point the camera at anything when you needed to.

What are the settings for the meter?

omg. so your installing a too box? That's the only thing I saw!
Excellent explanation. Too bad it's not a video, too. If you use a headlight like you use this camera, you are always working in the dark!

Thanks, but camera angle is sooo bad that the video is useless
Who the hell has a $2000 meter?
HOw does this help the average home owner? We don't have a $1,000 instrument.

Can I borrow your sat buddy?
Great camera work. (Tongue in cheek)
where are you guys in Utah? I'm in southern Utah and can't get my dish aimed correctly. I keep getting a error code 771
I've gone through the setup and got all the angles , but I still can't seem to find the birds

Might be a good video if you pointed the camera at what you were doing.

Don't you mean plumb?
Why is this still on RUclips?
Nice all you can see is the back of the dish.
Easier to use directv aim meter and put in your zip code it will tell you the az and tilt before you put dish on pole
I thought this was very helpful! Thank you!
DIRECTV slimline
level is horizontal , plumb is vertical
This video is the best video of all, thank ya for the info.

i see google play has a dish pointer program with the same name ,sap buddy
Actually the signal bounces back from the sky no mother satellite exists😉😆
That’s the crappy video learn how use the camera before trying to teach others about a dish
Iike an
lo.q.menos hiciste fue mostrar.
Worst video I have seen. Didn’t see anything.
Holy crap, buddy, did you look at the video before posting it??? Awful camera work.
Truly amazing that almost 62000 people have wasted their time with this horrible video.
Learn how to use a camera first!!!!
Everything he is doing is off the screen.
