@@jorgeandrescoppiano Also curious about this one. Football boots sizing is so weird to me, I usually go up at least one full size, because they are so damn narrow, and then have to compensate with a decently padded sock to avoid blisters. Over the years I’ve tried Puma (V1.08), adidas (2010 F30, turf and indoor Mundial Teams), and Nike (Premier 3s being the most recent addition), and even one pair of Joma indoors (though they didn’t last as long as I expected), and I’m always going up. The weird thing is it doesn’t happen with runners or basketball shoes. I’m really tempted to give a pair of Mizunos a shot when I spare some money. Visually, I love classic shoes, the leather’s gotta be gorgeous, too, so I guess the next pair will be Mizuno or Diadora. Hope I could try some on in-store.
I thought the copa 20+ was too tight and was wrong because it hurt a little bit the first 3-4 training sessions but then they got soooo comfortable after that
I'm 4 sessions into my speedflow .1 and I can feel them becoming more comfortable the first time wearing I was really worried about how tight they was, I think another few sessions and they should be perfect
Exactly, it feels so off. My left foot feels perfect for the boot, however, my right foot feels like it’s getting squished by a fucking metal presser. Nike is making mercurials so uncomfortable, it’s actually concerning.
Wear a shoe that is 1 or 2 size bigger than your usual because your feet muscles will expand when there is room in the toe box. If it’s too loose in the beginning just tie the shoes tighter. If you wear a narrow shoe, you get bunions and decreased performance.
My issue is that if I get them with no space, albeit the right size, they bruise my toes due to all the sudden stopping and acceleration. What do i do????
Dear Josh, In accordance to my reply to the video "how much space should you leave at the end of your football boots" and knowing the the boot is going to strech, I am going to buy the X speedflow.1 and would like your help in the sizing: 1. How do you measure the space left in the shoe, while you are sitting or standing (when sitting and taking my feet as back as possible in the shoe usually there is some space, while when standing there isn't)? 2. How much space do you usually leave at the end of your football boots (and again, is it while sitting and taking the feet back or while standing)? Thanks!
Go with standing. Also it all depends on how comfortable it feels on your feet. Each player has their own preference on how much space they need in a boot. Some people like having a tiny bit of space while others don’t want any space. General rule, if ur heel slips a lot than the boots are too big but other than that, it’s all personal preference. Hope u were able to get the right size
got mercurial vapour 14's, they are sooooo tight praying after a few sessions they loosen up.was a struggle to get in with a sock let alone a grip sock

I had this situation with my Phantom Venoms.. always goin 10.5 UK and out of the box they were snug and after some sessions they fit properly and were really good a but after 2-3 months of heavy use.. they really overstrech and made me blisters on the pinkies every time i wore them.. sad.. but yeah.. reality of top end football boots.. and material of course
Lol, my boots have stretched no matter the material, vapors, f50s, predators, copas, Mizunos. Overhang in all of them, funnily enough that's where most of the wear happens.
I got the Puma One 1 half a size or maybe a whole size too big, and now there is a ridge in the leather at the front where my big toe sits. Then noticeable flat space past it.
The new Vapors literally stretch too much! They quickly become “sloppy” and have a loose feeling. Lockdown and responsiveness definitely suffers as a result. Bring back proper, structured synthetics please!!
Hello mate, you mean the last release Vapor 14? I am just hesitating, whether to stick with Vapor 13 or upgrade to 14. I have both at home for trying, but cannot decide. :) Your inpur would help me immensely. What size did you order and what size do you have usually?
@@Tomas-bk8id Yeah, I'm talking about the 14s above. I prefer the 13s by far due to the issues with the 14s I mentioned. I'm between a uk 8 or a uk 8.5 but with the Vapor 14 I went with a uk 8.5 (which I loved) and stayed with that for the 14s. I'd say stay true to size if you do go with the 14s but you could probably get away with going the smaller size down too if you're in between sizes like I am. I'd also say hold fire on the 14s. Keep the 13s as they're better boots, return the 14s and wait and try the 15s as they should be coming out soon.
I’ve bought the vapor 14 progress pack version recently and it has a generally snug fit around my feet but slightly less comfortable at the toes, will stretching includes lengthening (maybe a 0.5 cm) or it’s just the width?
Quick question I purchase to buy boots especially adidas the boot im after adidas say i should size up as they run small is it worth getting my normal size any advice appreciated
Hey pls reply to me I just bought the copa sense 3 Fg, and inside there is elastic thing it squeeze my feet not that much, other than that boot is well fit, pls any one reply to me, whether it will get bigger or not
I have a question not relating to this video. rather than buying a pair for each ground type. could i get a AG for firm ground and astro surfaces? then just SG boots for the winter
Yes, but my preference is fg for Astro and firm surfaces. When you have fg boots you don’t even need sg boots because there isn’t very much difference in the grip. The only downside to fg is that it can be very harsh for your foot if you use it on astro. But I haven’t had this issue and if I were you I would’ve bought FG😃
Idk man. My copa 19+ was tight. Like compression shorts kinda tight and it stretched so much so that I have half a thumb width extra and I slide even with grip socks.
Not sure who needs to hear this but the sole plate makes a massive difference to the comfort on foot. I play on the AG grass, with those little black rubber things. 4G I think it is. I find that the the Nikes ag plate is best for that. I've tried the puma one.1, puma ultra fg/ag, and the Adidas nemeziz. You obv cannot wear the fg boots on those 4g pitches but I feel the puma and Adidas plates aren't just for AG.
I’ve been watching this guy for so long he feels like a big brother to me.

I like how I can eventually see the shape of my foot once they stretch. 😁
usually i wear size 9.5 and i feel like there's too much room in the toe box. then i tried size 9, it hurts my toe 😂

omfg thats exactly my problem with the exact same sizes as well
And the size 9 feels too small huh cuz that’s what I’m feeling because I don’t want to get size bigger due to the toe box

For those of us with "Fat" or "wide" feet: Mizuno in Japan has 4E shoes and even wider I believe. I've been wearing their Morelia's for years.
Even in football boots?
