- Trichoderma is a genus of fungi that is found in soil, plants, and other environments. It is a beneficial fungus that has a variety of uses, including:
Biocontrol: Trichoderma can be used to control plant diseases. It does this by competing with pathogenic fungi for nutrients and space, and by producing antimicrobial compounds that kill pathogenic fungi.
Plant growth promotion: Trichoderma can promote plant growth by secreting enzymes that break down organic matter, releasing nutrients that plants can use. It can also produce hormones that stimulate plant growth.
Soil health: Trichoderma can improve soil health by breaking down organic matter, increasing nutrient availability, and suppressing the growth of harmful bacteria.
Trichoderma is a safe and effective fungus that has the potential to benefit a variety of industries, including agriculture, horticulture, and biotechnology.

Thank you gor sharing we need this knowledge in our gardening po.
I am pretty sure tricaderma prefers an aerobic environment (high in oxygen), not still, oxygen depleted, anaerobic water. Pathogens thrive in oxygen depleted environments. Forget about storing it like this, you don’t store microbes this way.
Very useful, thank you for posted
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for the extremely valuable information you have provided! God bless you!

useful tutorial, thanks for sharing the video
You are welcome
As far as I know, you should grow T. hazianum in solid medium such as rice, ... Growing T. hazianum in liquid is not easy. It makes furry colonies on the surface of the liquid not in the liquid. FYI, steam cook rice and cool it down. Inoculate the rice with T. hazianum. let it sit at ~25C for two or three weeks. remove excess moisture from condensation in the container(if the rice is saturated with water, it does not grow well). it will turn green and cover the whole rice. You can now dry and store it.
There are several way to make it. I have tasted this Trichoderma liquid and it effective against fungus as well
a medium full of sugar, high osmotic pressure... trichoderma and its natural ecology preference on aerobic organic matter ambient..
the resulting liquid being effective on its target at field doesnt make the propagation process efficient @@v87garden
@v87Garden....Please whats the benefits of 1st generation to 3rd generation. When is it best to apply the 2 and 3rd generation? Thanks
It is the same benefits.
Thanks you ❤
You're welcome 😊
Hi, thanks for the amazing money saving video on the use of trichoderma. My question is after 2nd and 3rd generation do you refrigerate it or leave it to room temperature for proper storage? Thanks in advance
After you make it just keep it in house aways from sunlight
How long can you keep the activated concentrated solution?
Between 3-6 months

Thanks for sharing. Which Trichoderma sp did you use for this liquid formulation?
What is sp meaning?
@@v87garden "sp" is a short form for "species" like T. harzianum, T. viride etc
That's six months exp date if and only if placed in a fridge on up to 6C
Otherwise, that's one month at best before it's done
Hi sir.. why best one month
@@atlanskinsailajan7371 same as anything organic, it spoils eventually :) you just slow down the process on cooler temperatures
thanks

@@v87garden i have 1000gram packet should i use whole packet.there is nothing mentioned in it.
You can try 500grams mix with 20 liter of water
Hi, can it be mixed with Jeevamrutha and given to plants? Please let me know what..

What kind of species is that?
It is a trichoderma yeast for disintegration.
Mine, colour become red
I'm back again with a comment, to ask for your advice: Tomorrow I receive a 5 L bottle of molasses with a polarization degree of 50, which means that the merchant claims that it has 50% sugar content. I'm going to order the Trichoderma product in a very short time and I'm not quite sure which one to order. In my country (Romania), a trader sells a dry product packed in 20 g sachets, with a shelf life of 3 years, which contains: A mixture of Bacilus subtilis, Azotobacter, Enterobacter, Enterococcus, Trichoderma Lignorum and Trichoderma Viride bacterial cells . The second trader sells cereals containing mycelian mass with green mushroom spores (solid product, not liquid) in containers of 0.5 L and 4 L, with a shelf life of 6 months, kept at a temperature of max 8 GrC. It has separate containers with: Trichoderma viride, Trichoderma Konigii, Trichoderma Harzianum and Beauveria basiana. Please tell me which product you recommend to multiply it according to your method, and if the quantities of the ingredients will be the same as those you specified in the film or not. Thank you and I await your answer!
You can use a dry product packed in 20 g sachets, with a shelf life of 3 years and follow my step guide to make it as Trichoderma liquid.
Thank you and I will keep you informed about the results I will get!@@v87garden
I am waiting to hear from you
@@v87garden I'm back and I want to tell you that I listened to your advice and used the preparation you indicated. I sowed the cucumbers and in each planting hole I watered with approx. 0.5 L of the solution that I prepared, but I put 100 ml per 10 L of water! Today 29.04.2024, the temperature has risen, the mornings are still cool, we have 7 GrC and I want to plant the tomatoes. A few days before, I watered in strips the area where I will plant, using a sprinkler, and after planting I want to water each plant with 0.5 L of solution. How could I contact you privately (an e-mail address or WhatsApp), because I would like to send you some pictures and then have a little discussion about them? At the same time, I would like to ask you if with the cultivation method on the Molasses substrate that you practice, some beneficial bacteria such as Bacilus subtilis could not also multiply, also initially using a commercial preparation? Thank you!
Where can i order this trichoderma from
You can find Trichoderma at agriculture shop around your area

Trichoderma i bought from my local store. You can find simliar product at your area
can table sugar replace molasses
Yes, absolutely
@@v87garden how many tablespoon of sugar will equate 2kg of molasses?
Sorry late to reply, 2kg of sugar equate to 2kg of molasses. I think that you should use brown sugar it much better than table sugar
@@v87garden Why do you use sugar or molasses? On some videos, I saw that they use Trichoderma powder only mixed with water.
I assume with it being a yeast the sugar helps feeds it.
What molasses have you used
I use molasses that I have make. You can check in my playlist name compost & fertilizer for detail. You also can buy molasses from agriculture shop.
Get rid of the VERY ANNOYING music.
Thank you for your feedback, i will correct for the next video

I added trichoderma to cowdung for multiplication. After a week there were good growth on top of it. Then I mixed it again and kept it for the second week as per instructions from you tube video's . But it didn't grow again. What might be the reason?
I'm not sure how to multiply trichoderma in cow dung. But I know an easy way to multiply it in water based on my video.
@@v87garden okay I tried it seeing few vedios. Tried twice and both situations it grown in seven days and when I turned upside down and kept for next 7 days it didn't grow anything. This one I tried with jaggery+boiled rice water. Looks like it's grown, but not similar to what is shown here. Maybe I have to try with just jaggery next time.
i hate trichoderma bacilopilos
