As with many of these properties, the land/garden, pool, exterior stonework and views are awesome. Then, we go inside and again, we find clutter and dark old fashioned furniture. Exterior always out scores interior with these places. Thanks for the video Nick.
Dark old fashioned furniture is what you find in rural Italy. Because why throw away functional stuff just because its old? Its practical. You can always burn it. I'm sure there's a branch of Ikea nearby tho to turn it into a Miami Boutique hotel.
@@nicksullivan480 Don’t be a moron Nick, there are plenty of options when designing an interior. Just because I don’t appreciate badly lit clutter, doesn’t mean I prefer IKEA! There is plenty in between and well you know it young sir! 😊
I saw many modern, or ultra modern no clutter, and ultra stylish, inside is what the ppl want. I'm not crazy neither for basic bathrooms, old messy kitchen but easy to change. Nick has on listing an amazing house elegant stylish with all modern comfort,and others too.
Andy Brown, you forget that this has been a B&B for years. But generally speaking, Italian country living is probably not for you. Nothing wrong with that, but you can’t buy old Italian woodwork and beams, plaster walls, and vaulted stone ceilings like this. The old wood furniture is easy to change out. Besides, most American “country” homes are way more tacky (albeit a different tacky) than this when seen on surprise video tours.
It is gorgeous and I have not even seen inside the main house yet. Italy is calling my name.
I like the room with the stone ceiling because nothing is better than a stone ceiling and the Cypress frame the sunset. OMG, how incredible.

Love the home, tastefully renovated, the kitchen table and terrace ready for balmy evenings with friends or family. I love how you film and enthuse about the homes, not surprisingly you are very busy. I completely agree with changing your life if you aren’t happy where you are. I live in the Canary Islands, have a lovely home with gorgeous views, yet I feel I may be traveling soon, renting out my home after I’ve built an apartment into a wing of the house. A new beginning……..x

Years ago when i was passing by trains i used to think ppl were mad to live in those isolated places, living in central London was the only option! Now with age and the time we are living and internet wich help those are GOLD mines! Love all those cipressi so elegant!

This is shot in 2k and uploaded in 4K. To enable to shoot in 60fps I have to drop to 1080p. I’m going to try and change the gimbal settings to make it smoother. Sad they must sell the property. Anyway it is stunning. The Breakfast tower awesome. Special for a gin tonic before the pool !! The bedrooms are lovely and comfortable indeed. 4 AM on Sunday morning, what a great way to start my day. I live in a formerly rural area of now rampant development and love to see that there are livable places in the world that haven't been contaminated by condos and subdivisions. I guess it's the price I pay for being born in what is now a 'highly desirable' area :(

Oh how i love a beautiful garden. I live in a top floor flat in the Highlands of Scotland and we only have communal gardens.. Front has gravel, back is in grass, climbing frames, trampoline, washing lines. I also have 3 rescue dogs and i cant let them loose in the back garden because of children. How i long to be able to find a decent property with space for the dogs. Cant find anything in our price range so looking to move abroad and find something suitable, and Italy is beckoning me. Thanks Nick for opening my eyes.

I know it is old news now, but there was a mystery door (to the left upon entry) in the converted cantina guest room (#32 I think) which I don't believe was mentioned or explained. It had a lovely big old lock with key and caught my attention as soon as you entered that suite. I thought you might mention it as you exited after checking out the kitchenette and bathroom but you tricked me.
Would love to know what lay behind that rather sturdy mystery door.

The views, landscape, tobacco house and guest lodgings are gorgeous. Unfortunately the permanent home is very much "tower living". Like a small town apartment but with ample outdoor space and a view. Feels a bit confined and must be a veritable nightmare to clean.
Not that it's small, it's just very verticle.
A bit pricey tbh, if that's your living area. But I can imagine the work they put into this, if they did a total reno.
Lots of work running a B&B with three flats, and tending property, definately full time job.
If you're looking at loans to buy it, you'd need a very hefty second income to make this economically sound.
Unless help with B&B management and housework remotely is very inexpensive in Italy...
I'm assuming this family is young and didn't have kids when this was designed.
Those cypress trees and the rolling hills are everything!
