Also my dad went into the marines in 1986 and they had m1s in boot camp with the cup chinstrap (the 80’s one everyone knows) but they ended up with PASAGT helmets in Infantry Training School a few months to a year later. Then he has a PASAGT in Desert Storm

Probably not, it’s not really my interest. Interestingly enough Cold War stuff ain’t really my favorite, I much prefer WW1. The 80s will probably be the most modern thing I do.

No, you could use the Korean War era ones which are similar to ww2 just green. Although the actual Nam ones would be more common by that point
