We made a fruit cage for our blueberry Bush using a cheap £15 tomato house with a flat roof (useless as a greenhouse as vinyl fills with rain water) the tubing can easily be rearranged into a cube rather than a rectangle and covered with pea netting first time we got to eat the blueberries rather than the birds!
Sadly Freddie everything has sky rocketed in price 😢. But the beds and soil are looking fabulous and yes I said too someone and in my video it’s “May-hem” but we love it 😅😅. Your hard work is definitely paying off. Have a wonderful and sunny weekend, Ali 🥵🌞🇨🇦
That pond pump is brilliant. Love how you keep tinkering with it. I’ve got some pink fir apple too. (Also got the pink panther onions). I am so excited for carrot harvests. Everyone in our family loves them. The plot is looking amazing! Greenhouse looks brand new after a good clear out. So neat and tidy. Looks lovely. You’re not the first person to say it’s cheaper to buy compost bagged than loose. We always assume it’ll be cheaper in bulk but the garden centres have so many offers on multiple purchases of bags
I too never have a problem getting carrots to germinate but fail at thinning so I don't get very big carrots. I'm so far behind this year. Not quite sure how it happened, probably the shoulder injury isn't helping since I'm limited in what and for how long I can do things. Someone should have informed the rest of me as I ordered so many bulbs and then bought several perennials that really, really need to get in the ground. Where I live I'm a little further behind. Our last average frost date is May 15 but there is still so much I should have been doing that hasn't gotten done. Instead of dwelling on it I'm doing a good job of being super proud of what I have accomplished. Not always easy to do but I'm managing. It helps that my family is super supportive. Your plot looks fantastic, you should be very proud!
Your plot and pond are looking fantastic Freddie! Think you're going to have a great summer 😊🌞
I can’t wait for summer!
🐝thanks for the great video🌻
That’s okay. Thanks for a great comment!
You are certainly not afraid of hard work. Everything is looking great! Love the pond
Hahaha, I say just get the job done. 👍

Oh yes I can’t wait for for the vegetables to come! Compost is so expensive! So from now on I am getting it bagged.
Great update Freddie. I had germinated carots but they have all but disappeared. Your plot looks amazing.
Thank you! ☺️
I’ve always been successful growing carrots, it’s onions I can’t seem to grow 😳 plot looking lovely keep up the good work 👍🏻
My onions are massive this year! I sowed them in the autumn time.

Thank you, I know exactly what you mean about being behind! It fells like you have so many jobs to do! Thanks Freddie
Pond pump is fab. Keeps getting better. Temps are warming next week so I can sow cucamelons.
Yes! Have fun!
What happened to your stove in the shed Freddie? I have some years were carrots don't germinate and some that they do .
I never have a problem with germinating carrots, I put the stove at home in the winter science I had the log burner. But it is out again!
the plot looks bigger with the camera angle , summer is on its way 🤞
It does doesn’t it!
I think pink panther is a better name for them anyway!🥔
Haha, me to!
My brother got a potato beetle infestation.. he’s hoping that the organic spray that he has will take them out and keep them away from now on.
That should do the job!
Bend with your knees, not with your back 🙂☀️🪴
Thank you! ☺️
