I just love this scene! It was a great transition in this story and their relationship as they became friends after this. I cannot believe how lucky OLTL was to get Robin Strasser back in the role of Dorian Lord and I am so glad I got to see her. During 1993, 1994 and 1995, Robin's portrayal of Dorian was pure fire! Robin is an amazing actress to watch!!
I loved Robin as Dorian, too. Nothing against the actress who took over the role when Dorian left, but Robin owned that part, and I maintain, nobody played Dorian like Robin did or ever could. She was the only actress I know who could pull off making a woman who acted like a total beeatch often, so likable and even lovable at times. She was outrageously funny without even trying, and she was kind of a badass, too, only with genteel airs.
Great clip. I wish they'd done more with Angela. I love that smile on her face at the end of the clip as she agrees to work on Cassie. I also like how vulnerable Dorian is in this clip. She really did believe Angela was a good person and was going to help her. That's what made the betrayal so much worse. And for comedy value, Dorian's shriek when she saw that hairpiece in the envelope.
Actually, Dorian does not fall for Angie's act even though she pretends to. I love how Dorian tells Angie that she has only three days because she knows Angie has no "special" or "divine" power over Cassie.
I wonder if Robin and Susan Diol knew that during that fight their skirts were going to hike up and all that. It definitely added a new dimension to the scene! I'm sure this scene was very popular.
LMAO at the "ONE MORE TIME" in the OLTL-like font! OMG, when Dorian wrapped her legs around Angela, that was pretty hot! Dorian was hot in general during this time period, all of those short skirts, Robin Strasser has nice legs.
Indeed, look at her in the scene with Jason, this is when people still confused her with Susan Lucci. Robin's real hair is thin, the mane she sported back in these days was not all hers. (Well, excuse me, "hers" in that she paid good money for what God didn't give her.)
I don't think Robin looks anything like Susan. Susan is tall and has small green eyes while Robin is short and has large dark brown eyes. But true that Dorian's hair was thicker and coarser than Robin's is.

In any case, other than being brunettes, I don't see too many similarities between the _characters_ of Dorian and Erica.
Dorian usually took care not to scratch people with those lovely long nails of hers. It was so funny, especially when scrawny, short Dorian was sprawled over the desk with her butt nearly showing.
