I'm pretty sure you don't get fingers from NCR since they have their dogtags. 12:10 the Joker in caravan is used to remove all other cards of the same number that have been placed. If you play it on an Ace, it will remove all other cards from that suit

Thx you for taking the time to go through ranking all these items. After finishing the fallout show, I decided to start New Vegas for the first time. Quickly I realized 2 things. I felt compelled to horde everything but couldn’t always take everything and had a hard time separating junk from useful crafting/money making items. This’ll definitely come in handy. 👍
Hey man just want to say thankyou for making these videos. Fallout has a special place in my heart and I'm in a pretty bad spot in life at the moment. But watching an hour long video ranking the junk of fallout puts a big old smile on my dial, I must thank you for this :) PS. Worry not my radioactive brethren, things will get better. DEVOUR CHEMS, INJECT SUNSET SARSAPARILLA INTO YOUR EYEBALLS AND KILL ABOMINATIONS!!!
Cartons or Packs of Cigs is currency in Dead Money. Even before you do Dead Money you can feed it to the Vending Machine in the Abandoned BOS base to get Sierra Madre chips and exchange it for stuff.
Crafting items should have its own separate tier list. And "Wasteland Classic" is too subjective. There should at least be an objective value-to-weight ratio criterion or be based on rarity.
In relation to the brotherhood of steel holotags, I'm betting that the mods Reapeeron uses either Tale of Two Wastelands and/or Better Brotherhood. Cause in vanilla, there's no way those holotags increase brotherhood reputation, let alone have any use or be able to be turned in.
Cameras can be given to the toaster in OWBs for energy ammo, same as irons and hot plates. Goes for most other useless junk can be made into other things
The hammer. Needed for weapon repair kits. But. With the perk. Veracious Reader junk books can be used to make more magazines. An unlimited amount. How I determine whether something is junk- I hoard EVERYTHING until I get to NOVAC. I utilize the Mojave Express mail boxes to shuttle thousands of pounds on junk, armor, weapons, and food stuffs. From there in Novac I use the repair station, and camp fires. What ever isn’t used up (use the magazines to boost what can make) I sell the Cliff. I repeat the process until I get to the Lucky 38.
Notably, NCR and Legion money are treated as true alternative currencies to caps, and don’t have a barter spread but instead have their values pegged against the bottle cap. Pre-war money though is instead subject to barter spread. Also packs and cartons of cigarettes can be sold at vending machines for Sierra Madre chips which can be turned into pre-war money at the casino in dead money
26:57 Cmon man you could've atleast done some research man. Finger IS one of a kind item, you can find it pinned to one wall somewhere and you'll never find more since they aren't dropped from good or evil or ncr or legion NPC's.
Rocket is a good chem. You should make more Rocket. It gives you more AP than regular Jet. Who cares if you get addicted? Just take more Rocket! Detergent is everywhere!
i collect anything i feel that is worth taking to some degree, if it can be used to Craft, i take it. if it can be used by The Sink, i take it. if it can fit in my Rock-It Launcher, i take it. my fave Junk to be used as Ammo is Baseballs, Pool Balls, and Empty Bottles.
The complimentary vouchers are god-tier, if you play dead money at the start of a play through and get banned from the Sierra madre casino then by the time you finish the game you’ll have thousands of Sierra madre chips and dozens of vouchers worth thousands of weapon repair kits, stimpaks, etc. not sure why more people don’t talk about this. OH, and on console you can drop the voucher to get out of bounds since it doesn’t have collision
@@chrishiggins1934 I did Dead Money early on one time and forgot about it. Came back at a higher level, and there were like 20 vouchers waiting for me!
Love the vid. I think there should have been a 'niche' tier for things that are mostly useless but good for one thing, like all the stuff the sink takes. They're not really crafting, or classics, they're just niche.
In caravan Joker plays like a super Jack. It removes all of the numbered card you place it on, so if you place it on an 8 it removes all 8s in play. However if you play it kn an Ace, it removes all numbered cards of that suit. So if you place it on an Ace of Hearts, every numbered heart is removed
11:00 Caravan’s big problems 1: It’s easy to trivialize for how complex it is. 2: No Bark is the only NPC who will play you unlimited times and has anything meaningful to gamble. 13:14 .22 LR, of course, does not. Less obviously .38 special, .44 Special, .223, and (for some reason) 5.56 AP
conductors can be made from rockets, which outside of hardcore are weightless, and in hardcore are relatively light, so at 120 caps per pound, or 240 with perks, thats not bad.
I love Caravan and make so much money in my play throughs continuously beating down the NPCs and yet I too have no idea what Jokers do in the game. I just take them out of my deck and don’t even think twice about it.

You literally just guaranteed that someone is going to collect every ash tray in New Vegas and put it on the NOVAC bed just to take a picture of it.
I'm considering it. They are so common, I'm guessing I can get a few hundred of them easy.
Had lunch at the pioneer saloon in goodsprings today, very affordable
Thx you for taking the time to go through ranking all these items. After finishing the fallout show, I decided to start New Vegas for the first time. Quickly I realized 2 things. I felt compelled to horde everything but couldn’t always take everything and had a hard time separating junk from useful crafting/money making items. This’ll definitely come in handy. 👍
the insane toaster will take cameras. and muggy takes plates.
Yes he will :)
Awesome list. But I think that the finger is one of a kind in New Vegas. Found in a shack near old lady Gibsons during Veronica's side quest
Hey man just want to say thankyou for making these videos. Fallout has a special place in my heart and I'm in a pretty bad spot in life at the moment. But watching an hour long video ranking the junk of fallout puts a big old smile on my dial, I must thank you for this :)
PS. Worry not my radioactive brethren, things will get better.
DEVOUR CHEMS, INJECT SUNSET SARSAPARILLA INTO YOUR EYEBALLS AND KILL ABOMINATIONS!!!
My favorite was ashtrays and paperweights from the junk cannon from fallout 3
Baseballs, Empty Bottles and Pool Balls were my faves, love the Rock-It Launcher.
I remember kicking major ass with my scavenger build.
I'm of the opinion that for consistency anything that can be turned into something should be put in crafting. Just good organization.
Cartons or Packs of Cigs is currency in Dead Money. Even before you do Dead Money you can feed it to the Vending Machine in the Abandoned BOS base to get Sierra Madre chips and exchange it for stuff.
I didn't realize I needed this list until now.
The toaster in the sink can turn cameras into energy ammo! Love you Ron 🫶🏼
Also leather belts are used for the super stimpak
Crafting items should have its own separate tier list. And "Wasteland Classic" is too subjective. There should at least be an objective value-to-weight ratio criterion or be based on rarity.
In relation to the brotherhood of steel holotags, I'm betting that the mods Reapeeron uses either Tale of Two Wastelands and/or Better Brotherhood.
Cause in vanilla, there's no way those holotags increase brotherhood reputation, let alone have any use or be able to be turned in.
They are? You have to bring brotherhood holotags back to them for a quest
@@danielsurvivor1372 I think it meant the mission holotapes, not holotags.
The evil gnome is one of the developers of new vegas lol
As a person playing ttw. Mentioning what all the items could do in 3 is immensely helpful.
There are also two doggie treats that count as misc items
17:35 Leather Belts are used to make Super Stimpaks
Conductors aren't the ingredient for the drug rocket, but rather the rocket launcher ammunition.
Maybe a quest tier? I love this list and your lists, I subbed.
Thanks, that could be fun to talk about too.
omfg its an hour long, i cant believe you made this, i cant believe im gona watch this
Hope that you enjoy it!
26:57 Cmon man you could've atleast done some research man. Finger IS one of a kind item, you can find it pinned to one wall somewhere and you'll never find more since they aren't dropped from good or evil or ncr or legion NPC's.
I'd argue the crafting tier should be the highest. Selling weapons, ammo, and armor make the money making junk pretty useless.
That is fair to say, I usually try to get those items too.
Goat fallout RUclipsr
Thank you very much Zaia! Gigachad comment.
For king mitten I'll always carry a fork with me now
I've been binging your tier list vids for a few days, gearing up for the first FNV playthrough I've done in 10 years. Inspirational AF
Just like in real life the smaller scorpions have more potent venom
The complimentary vouchers are god-tier, if you play dead money at the start of a play through and get banned from the Sierra madre casino then by the time you finish the game you’ll have thousands of Sierra madre chips and dozens of vouchers worth thousands of weapon repair kits, stimpaks, etc. not sure why more people don’t talk about this. OH, and on console you can drop the voucher to get out of bounds since it doesn’t have collision
i've only gotten Vouchers via Elijah's Bunker, 1 per day. where do you get the Vouchers outside of the mailbox?
@@UltimateGamerCC very 3 days you get chips and once a week you get a voucher, over time you’ll have lots of chips in the bunker’s safe
@@chrishiggins1934
I did Dead Money early on one time and forgot about it. Came back at a higher level, and there were like 20 vouchers waiting for me!
Fission Batteries and Cartons of Cigs are SSS tier
No way you finally did it 😅🤣, I can't wait to be informed on all the junk
You need the leather belt to make super stimpaks and the weapon binding ritual
The gnomes were worth their weight in entertainment when shooting out of the rock-it-launcher
That is very true.
save your smokes for dead money returns, get a lot of weapon repair kits you can use to repair high value weapons and sell them for top dollar
Sure but you could just win in the casino there and just keep like 2k of them sierra madre chips and let rest become prewar money
Leather belts are used to craft Super Stimpaks
Muggy also recycles all sorts of plates and the coffe cooker thingy. And the toaster will also recycle irons, cameras and hotplates.
11:00
Caravan’s big problems
1: It’s easy to trivialize for how complex it is.
2: No Bark is the only NPC who will play you unlimited times and has anything meaningful to gamble.
13:14
.22 LR, of course, does not. Less obviously .38 special, .44 Special, .223, and (for some reason) 5.56 AP
I usually just sell hides because they don't weigh anything and are worth like 4-6 caps each.
Yeah me too.
SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
I've been waiting my whole life for this tier list. Thank you so much.
conductors can be made from rockets, which outside of hardcore are weightless, and in hardcore are relatively light, so at 120 caps per pound, or 240 with perks, thats not bad.
You do need the fire gecko hide, as well as the golden gecko hide and green gecko hide to make the gecko metal and gecko leather.
A pressure cooker can be used to make the rebreather for the boomers quest line
That is also true.
as someone who started a FO3 run where I collect literally everything in the wasteland, I find ALL junk to be S tier
That is fair to say.
"The superior non-bent tin can" That's the first time this sentence was said in history.
You're welcome?
We scrapping the barrel with this one🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🧯🧯🧯
'If i see a big spoon im gonna take it" 6:50 is where that classic is, people and future me
Camera are given to the toaster for micro fusion cells and scrap metal and electronics
I love Caravan and make so much money in my play throughs continuously beating down the NPCs and yet I too have no idea what Jokers do in the game. I just take them out of my deck and don’t even think twice about it.
