Looks great. How much lift is that? 3" or so? Yeah the HPD is really only a sticker, wheel, black grill package. Oh, and those over-the-top fender "flares." I'd say the only thing the newer Ridgeline has over yours is the 9-speed. With that transmission, you get a lower 1st and that should help a lot. The good news for you is that overall MPG is identical between yours and the new tranny. Great job on the 2019. I don't care who bitches that it's not a real truck. You can load 20+ sheets of 3/4 plywood flat between the wheel wells in a Ridgeline. Try that in a Ranger, Tacoma, Frontier, or Colorado. For me, I want to carry my motorcycle and pull a 3000 lbs trailer. I also want comfort on those 2000 mile trips. Honda might lose some rock crawling battles but wins in that 95% of what we need a truck for. At least for me. :). Again, great job!
Yep! That’s the Traxda 3.5 inch lift kit! It’s been a great vehicle for Nate. A big enough interior to carry the kids, very comfortable, and like you said lots of room in the bed. It does everything he needs it to do!
Nice set up. I’m looking to get my first 4WD vehicle and narrows it to a Forrester sport and Ridgeline. I don’t want a turbo. I currently have a Had a Honda Pilot for 13 years and it’s been a reliable beast. Only Maintanece issues. Funny how people or truck guys hate on the Ridgeline. I’d love an F250 Tremor with the 6.7 PowerStroke or the 7.3 Godzilla but I don’t need all that capability, I probably won’t tow, and done want to spend that much money on it. Now if it was gift I’d take for sure. Lol…. Nice build. I love the trunk under the bed too.
Thanks for all the details on the ridgeline... it let me do some math on my cherokee trailhawk and figure out how much lift would match where you're at.
just one question for Nate. when you did the 3.5 inch lift did you loose any comfort? did you notice any difference in how vehicle rides? i heard when lifting a truck it becomes rougher. is that true with your experience. Also, can you tell with a 3.5" lift the truck moved higher. when people talk about 3.5" it doesn't seem like much compare to how high toyota tacoma sits. Thank you in advance.
@@ScenicCityAdventures here is a video I did with all of the swaybars disconnected. In the long term the increased droop was too much for the front axles. ruclips.net/video/ZB_XDWwsEag/видео.html
"The minivan is a little higher off the ground now" coffee cup measurement GREAT!!!!

Not at all. The ride is almost the same, just a little taller. It feels higher for sure.
Where does he put his spare tire now that the bed rack covers the bed mount location?
Under the rack, bolted to the bottom below the tent.
Nate, how are you able to keep the turn signal lights on with the fog lights?
He uses a film over the fog lights to make them orange.
Question, how did you paint that chrome black on the ridgeline
Just popped it off and took it to a local shop and had them gloss black over it. I tried plasti-dip, but didn’t love the textured finish.
Wanna do this lift on my 2021 , but with custom wheels - was thinking -10 offset but probably same wheel size - any thoughts ?
Is the Traxxda lift better than the J-Sport? Also, do you have details on setting it up for the 33" tires? Thanks!
Nice upgrades! Has Nate considered disconnecting the rear swaybar?
We actually talked about that last time. I’d be curious to see how much of a difference it makes.
@@ScenicCityAdventures I am pretty sure it would make a noticeable difference off-road
