Without taylor the bhoys look unbalanced his inverted tendencies and great passing brings so much to the team. We may have a bit more depth but not when they all play at same time . Thankfully we put the first team on at 60 min
yeah, he looks better going forward than in defence a bit like Ralston. I have a minor panic attack every time Ralston receives the ball in his own half.🤣
Would rather play Yang than Palma , at least Yang shows some enthusiasm and effort unlike Palma. At one point Valle intercepted in defence and after beating the tackle lost it because he had no pass as Palma was walking behind him. Unforgivable not to show effort, Palma was the worst player on the pitch. Also thought Welsh consistently underperforms , Nawrocki is a far better option.
Thought trusty looked good tbf, think he'd be solid if we brought him into the first 11. Vale wasn't great but think he deserves a few more run outs before we judge him too harshly because I thought Palma was pretty terrible in front of him. Kuhn and Engels immediately showed they're undroppable
Over in the States, Palma was a celebrity with the Honduran immigrants. He strolls about the pitch today acting like one. Yang had a better attitude in the short time he was on. Palma, think his time is up with us.
Lessons:Palma is only interested in Palma. He is uncoachable and should be moved on in January and replaced. Rocki is a far better player than Welsh. Hatate needs to improve consistency. Valle needs more minutes.
Too many changes was always going to be a bit risky against a good attacking side in form. We've got to give our squad players time as this will let us develop them.
Said all week not too make too many changes, the difference at 65 minutes proved a point, Palma, Welsh not good enough, jury out on left back & centre back but needs game time beside better players. I’m sure BR had learned a lot and won’t make so many changes again….
Perfect opportunity today to see what the players that aren't in the first team need to work on and also which players show promise and which don't. I am also a Wrexham fan and although I'd written Cleworth off a couple of seasons ago, this season he's possibly their best player. Sometimes things just need to click or they just need a little word in the ear and they become a totally different player. Just glad the bhoys had strength in depth so we could put on bug hitters to take command of the game and see Falkirk off.
Bit harsh on Valle. I thought he was quite good today, suspect one or two times defensively but I think like you said Hamish he would be a lot more solid with scales and maeda playing along side him
I still think our squad depth is impressive it’s just the fact this team hasn’t played together and don’t know the peace we play the game if it was the same starting 11 from Wednesday, but maybe just two or three changes there would be no problem. If anybody from our starting 11 gets injured, I’m not going to be too concerned.
I'd have Yang ahead of Palma. I think Palma will be on his way out in the January transfer window. I believe Yang will come good. Fast, direct but needs to be more productive in terms of assists and goals.
Palma clearly does possess quality basing it on when he first arrived here. But i dont like his look at me show off characteristics , has no pace or consistency , or fight Aye , get rid for next summer
I thought Trusty was quite a calm player his distribution was very Impressive just a little too slow centre backs have to play consistently if him and Welsh were playing consistent games they would be a lot shaper we seen it when scales missed game or two last season . Valle far too unexperienced but he was running right to the bi line and putting balls in more like Alistair Johnston rather than Greg Taylor.
As ive said all along ill judge Celtic when up v good sides in Europe , likes of our next game v Dortmund and v Lypzieg later . Celtic's defence is shaky and should have had some more decent millions spent on it as im a firm believer in make a team strong beginning at the back and then open out ..But we are fine middle to front , just needed made stronger at back and board have failed as has Rodgers in such .
Got out of jail, celtic rested to many players to day, your talking seven players today, should have had at least another four on, it's okay now but c'mon, shaky bum times at times today Bhoy's
As is often said, the road to hell is paved with good intentions and whilst I fully understand Brendan's good intentions the truth is we made far too many changes from Wednesday night and it showed. Naturally, Falkirk being in good form and with nothing to lose played a cracking game and were a credit to themselves, their manager , and their club and fully deserved their half time lead. Fortunately however , we decided to substitute our good intention after an hour and brought on the big guns to get job done and that's exactly what they did. So it's job done and on to face Aberdeen in the semi final before we hopefully play Motherwell for the first trophy of the season. 💚🤍🏴 Celtic 5 🇵🇹🇮🇪🇮🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪 Falkirk 2 🏴🏴
Engels pass to Khun was sublime! Credit where it's due. ☘️💚

Valle got a cracking assist for Bernardos equalizer, looked a bit lost at times early on..but he wont have played at that pace for a while if ever,
yeah, he looks better going forward than in defence a bit like Ralston. I have a minor panic attack every time Ralston receives the ball in his own half.🤣
There’s a player in there - tough debut in a makeshift team against a 6.3 winger and zero protection from hatate n Palma
Falkirk best coached team we've played

The lad Palma as I have said before still thinks he in the school playground.
Thought trusty looked good tbf, think he'd be solid if we brought him into the first 11. Vale wasn't great but think he deserves a few more run outs before we judge him too harshly because I thought Palma was pretty terrible in front of him. Kuhn and Engels immediately showed they're undroppable
Credit to Falkirk gave us a great game
Over in the States, Palma was a celebrity with the Honduran immigrants. He strolls about the pitch today acting like one. Yang had a better attitude in the short time he was on.
Palma, think his time is up with us.
If you drop any of the new players into Wednesday team they would look a lot different
Roger’s. Fkd up playing them all at once
Today told us all new contract for Greg Taylor khun was immense
Proof today that we havent addressed the weaknesses at LB . On the plus side Khun getting better and better
I never thought I'd get excited at Yang coming on but I did. Palma was mediocre.
Looks like Stevie has the same view as the zombies in the Copland Stand
There second goal should have been called for a free one you lad Valle was pulled around like a ragdoll HH DUBLIN

All the new players need match time to improve to be honest. Maybe not all at the same time though. 🙂☘️💚

Judging Valle on the basis of 60 minutes play is just ridiculous
He wis $hit m8

Ange did the same against St.mirren and they showed us up .Eight changes at one time ,far to much.
Palma clearly does possess quality basing it on when he first arrived here. But i dont like his look at me show off characteristics , has no pace or consistency , or fight
Aye , get rid for next summer
Palma is worse than a man short.
No pace, no guile, no effort and looked like no clue.
He needs to go 😞
Palma loves being a Celtic player. He doesn’t want to do the work to remain one! He lacks game intelligence.
Kuhn amazing inpact palma absolute rotten and Welsh would struggle tae git a game wae a junior team
I thought Trusty was quite a calm player his distribution was very

Bit nicer under the meeting tree 🌳 🙂 😅

And kasper was rooted to the spot for Falkirks second, not a good look
Time to get rid of palma,an empty shirt
Extend BR to a longer term contract ASAP
Loss of form can be rectified, bad attitude is a wirse burden and palma's attitude is terrible.
Got out of jail, celtic rested to many players to day, your talking seven players today, should have had at least another four on, it's okay now but c'mon, shaky bum times at times today Bhoy's
Palms not good enough simple as that

depth in squad ??? "NO".......
