- A man who used the N word in posts about a national anthem protest during a Detroit Lions game is no longer a season ticket member, a Lions representative confirmed.
He must realize calling them that slur completely validates their reason for not standing for the anthem.
He doesn’t get it, racists don’t think, they react.

Neil Young respected the Native Americans, Buffalo Soldier by Bob Marley and the Wailers, Geronimo by Michael Martin Murphy. My favorite was Neil Young's Pochahontas. You may or may not like them. I enjoyed our brief discussion.

We have our own opinions on many issues. I for one stopped watching after week 2 last year. Not because of the protest. I believe 100% that the players have the right to protest, but I they are doing it at the wrong time. So I used my right to not watching it and didn't follow the season because the media made it worse as well.

I found it funny that he insulted the couple calling them the N-word. And then the video cuts to the couch of his favorite team, who is black, addressing the issue. Damn that guy must've felt stupid after watching the news
A. Americans have a constitutional right not to stand for the Anthem if they decide not to. B.There is NEVER a good reason to use racial slurs. C. Making stupid statement on social media is never a good business move for anyone that owns a business. D. Next time you're at a sporting event mine your own business.

In my country, people don't really care about if you sit, stand or lay down doing the national anthem, or even if you know it. We are kinda laid-back like that
Thanks to this news, I have been educated. I didnt know there was a third verse till now, so I looked it up. With that said, there shouldn't even be a third verse associated with such content associated with any country's anthem. Lobbying to abolish the 3rd verse should be put forward.

The 3rd verse of the 🇺🇸 national anthem is super racist. Referring to the slaves that went to fight for the British with a promise they would be freed if 🇬🇧 won. The songwriter hated those slaves even more. 🤫

I don’t see a problem with them sitting out at all. In high school we used to have a handful of people sit out for the pledge of allegiance and the national anthem and no one ever said anything. It’s their choice to do or not do and it should be respected.

Once again, there is no law or any requirement to to stand for the national anthem unless you are military. You can sit or use your phone to video other people not standing. It's your choice.
