I appreciate this. When I asked Noam Wasserman who are some wealthy blacks not from sports or entertainment the response was that may be difficult to find because it generally takes capital to eventually get there, and there are less than 1% of African Americans who receive VC. Ty🙏🏽. Putting it in the atmosphere - I plan on making the list in the future.
I am appreciative of the development of this list and the work that each of you are doing to move our community forward. I am firmly ocnvicted in belief that we must proritze business conversations and actions amonst our selves our children and their children to amplify our econimic justice and overall voice in the U.S.
Hopefully one day and one day soon my business and I will be on one of these Forbes list does not have to be a list of color. Having said that it's back to work.
Stop it this is why their standards are so low, compete with everyone else smh why not top the big studios instead of Perry’s small time studio ? 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳
Can we just celebrate “Human” excellence? Why do we always feel the need to categorize and filter people by race when giving awards for stuff ? And then people wonder why racism is still a thing yet we intentionally create the divide by the way we portray each other as different (and therefore deserving of different treatment). We’re all human, color has nothing to do with it. Can we please celebrate people for being people without bringing their skin color into the conversation?
We can and do celebrate human excellence, I'm with you, I also realize that there was once a time when African-Americans were not recognized for their contributions not recognized as even being a whole human here in America, there was a whole suppression of inventions and accomplishments that were put in place to discourage any idea and notion that people of color could be great contributors and successful. Thanks to Ebony magazine and Jet magazine which my father had delivered to our house, I was able to see people of color achieving and it inspired me greatly to One Day become a business owner myself which I became one in 2022 even more inspired now to maybe one day Peek the heights of any Forbes list and that's because I could see myself in those magazines and those people who looked like me.

SO RACIST - What about ALL the other races!?!?
Here in America you are bombarded with all those other races all those other histories so what about them we know all about them.
