This was exactly my problem. Thanks for identifying it and the solution. Had a problem finding small enough driver, used a paper clip! Worked like a charm! Off to take more shots! Thank you again!
Thanks watching what you did gave me confidence to broddle about in the slot, the broken plastic bit from the sd card other side had already come out but the sd card wouldn't lock in. I actuated the locking mechanism a couple of times with fine tweezers and then tried the card and it locked in.
