    Can I use Nvidia ctrl panel to set a specific resolution JUST for one game (I dont want my desktop icons to go bonkers). 3440x1440 seems interesting.

      Specific resolution for the game you set from inside the game's own options.

    For PC monitor, the so called HDR400 compliant just barely implements HDR. Local dimming implementation is a requirement plus full compliance means the monitor should be able to support recommended 1000 nits brightness (HDR1000). There are monitors like KTC supporting HDR1000 but most do not as it is a very expensive tech for monitors right now.

    I have the DWF model and the HDR in this game seems way too dim, no matter which HDR more I'm using. SDR also feels too vibrant, like it actually hurts my eyes at times lol, idk what's happening

    • @LeyzarGamingViews
      @LeyzarGamingViews  2 месяца назад +1

      That's a nice display, problem with the F version is that HDR has never been as good as it should be on it.
      But, I believe you problem stems from the game itself being bugged and capped at 300 nits.
      Have a look here for a fix ruclips.net/video/DpcgFArQbM0/видео.html

    I actually prefer the HUD elements to be in the 16:9 position on my 21:9 screen. Putting them in the corners on an ultrawide is not ideal in my opinion.

      Most (if not all) games are configured with a peak HDR brightness of 1000, in this case its 1500 because thats the game sliders' max, so yes you might see a difference with settings above 1500 if it was possible, because your monitor will just stretch out the HDR values to fit to your screen. But the gains wouldn't be as great compared to games configured at 4000, or for example 10000 nits. Enjoy the 1500 max I'd say :)

    RTX HDR looks way better to me than the native Ingame HDR tbh. Worth giving it a try. The Ingame Slide seems to be a bit wonky atm. Using a AW3423DWF with HDR Peak 1000 btw.

      Tried it, sadly you must disconnect all other displays to use it, hopefully this will be a non-issue with future updates. The bigger problems are the Windows 11 Requirement and about a 5-10% loss in performance (FPS). Visually speaking there was no observable difference in fidelity, this however is subjective till you pull out an analyzer. Even then, what's the point if you can't actually notice a difference.

    • @Dan-91
      @Dan-91 2 месяца назад +1

      I think the peak brightness isn't working properly in this game. I used the HDR analysis tool in ReShade and when looking at the sun it only reaches the maximum paper white brightness and not the maximum luminence.
      I have my maximum luminence set to 1000 and it doesn't reach anywhere near that unless I use some of the hdr correction filters inside of ReShade. After doing that it looks significantly brighter and overall more vibrant.

    Hmm. compåaring this video in 4k on the tube to my actual gamescreen on my mini-led tv my HDR looks so much more stunning and vibrant. Guess it has to do with your max nits on a computer monitor compared to a 2500nits tv? Even my game screen wich is the LG c2 it looks way more intense and vibrant. And frankly in a game like this you do not spend time looking in corners for fidelity so DLSS quality is very nice to keep a high fps on the 4080.

    • @LeyzarGamingViews
      @LeyzarGamingViews  2 месяца назад

      1) With a 4080 you don't need to diminish fidelity with dlls or frame gen to maintain high fps.
      2) Video quality on RUclips is affected by a lot of aspects and heavily compressed by Google. You can't really compare but to itself.
      3) The creators display will not affect what you see on the recording. The signal/info/data is the same, the display interprets it. Unless it's a recording of the Display Itself running the game.
      4) As for your TV, unless you installed the HDR fix for HFW you're running 300 nits 😉
