    Hi you definitely have an eye for detail it looks great im in the process of getting the parts together to build one, have you got a link to the electronics

      Absolutely!
      This is where I bought the controller but they are available stateside now too.

      I’ve even seen the set on eBay too!

    I would really like to see how you built the water tray.

    • @mrkrazyjeep
      @mrkrazyjeep  3 года назад

      Thanks for watching! I actually had the water pan sheared and sides bent at a local metal shop. I welded the corners and welded the drain couplings in. Then I had it powder coated.

    It looks so good to be a diy plasma table. What belt did you use?

    • @mrkrazyjeep
      @mrkrazyjeep  3 года назад +1

      I used a 15mm wide belt with a 3mm pitch. Thanks for watching!

    I'd advise filling your tubes with sand or some medium as to reduce vibrations will give cleaner cuts as there will be even less movement from starting and stopping rapidly.

      Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate that. I was hoping that the weight of the water in the table will be enough. If not I’ll definitely look into the sand legs! I was also thinking about some solid retractable feet in addition to the locking casters. Thanks again!

    Awesome! Thanks, I’ll have to figure out how to do that...

    Awsome
    I am trying to finish my own cnc plasma but having some issues filterring electrical noise.
    Did you have any difficulties with RFI or EMI?
    Did you ground the table to its own ground or everything is grounded to house main ground?
    How did you protect the 5volt signal wires from electrical noises elsewhere?
    Do you use a laptop or pc to controller?

      My electronic control box is 100% electrically isolated from the table. All cables for the motors and limit switches are shielded cables and terminated on one end only inside the electronics box. I use a laptop.

    • @mrkrazyjeep
      @mrkrazyjeep  4 года назад +2

      I haven’t had any problems with EMI/RFI...

      @@mrkrazyjeep thanks
      I have used shielded cables and grounded the table and still could not find the source emi.
      I just realized the USB to laptop is not a true ground. I will seperare the control box from the table enough to isolate as you explain.
      Thanks again

      I hope that helps. I can do a quick video on how I did the isolation that if that will help...

    • @pedrotorres9836
      @pedrotorres9836 4 года назад

      @@mrkrazyjeep Yes that would help. If you can point out how you avoided making a ground loop. Also how you grounded the USB from the laptop, obviously it's not inside the control box.
      A video would be great 😊

    straight grid ,may cause a problem for you when it's align with torch path and fully destroyed .

    • @mrkrazyjeep
      @mrkrazyjeep  4 года назад

      Right, take another look... it’s not a straight grid. Its diagonal offset by two inches. So far it’s been good. Are you referring maybe to a waving setup instead? I can see where that might be better. Thanks for commenting!

    • @saeedkhani5823
      @saeedkhani5823 4 года назад

      @@mrkrazyjeep yes, I mean waving setup should be better . sorry about my English.(I'm learning )

    • @saeedkhani5823
      @saeedkhani5823 4 года назад

      and after see the video again carefully . I see the grid offset.have you had any problem with this type arranged grids?

    • @mrkrazyjeep
      @mrkrazyjeep  4 года назад

      No worries, I haven’t had any problems yet. I debated a wave design at first but ended up with the diagonal. I could easily change to a wave design. I might try that when these grates need replaced...
