Sir! I've recently just started up my own channel. What advice could you offer a Newb?

@@GrandFatherOutdoors 1 don’t forget to turn your camera on
2 make sure your battery is charged and you have a sim card in camera
3 get a good editing program
      4 a microphone is a plus
5 be yourself and don’t give a crap what smooth brained fools think or say
6 don’t be a parrot do your own thing
7 always remember your haters are losers and just jealous because they are too weak to start their own channel
8 when making shorts never forget , that audience only has attention span of less than 60 seconds
9 have fun and when it stops being fun …stop

Digging the new set up Pete. Looking forward to getting out again and setting up the hammock. Tents are becoming a thing of the past for me too.

I'm a fan of permethrin for the outdoors. Liked seeing the chair in this, those are dead simple to make too. As for the "unlucky at thinking crowd", they don't have any respect or manners either! Take care!

The tie outs might be for a under quilt. look forward to seeing how the hammock works out for you. Have been looking at new hammocks for myself, might try a layflat style.

@@seventy-9 most likely that’s what I will use them for . I guess you tie one out for your foot side and then put a tie by your head .
This is my 3rd hammock and so far I really like it kinda like a good pair of work boots, you get what you pay for. I don’t know much about the lay flat hammocks but I do like my double layer bottom I think it sleeps a little firmer and I can stuff a pad inside it when it cools down. I’m no expert still learning but know I got a good one and Dutchware has all kinds of add ons to customize your hammock

Good info. I was actually talking about watching the whole video, but I didn't know the pamethrin was available at the feed stores. Good to know for sure. You know I'm thinking about doing the hammock thing. So I focused on any info. And I prefer to get it from someone I trust.

@@edwinklaver thanks buying permethrin at 10% and diluting it is the best way to do it and you can spray vegetables and fruits with it. The ready made stuff is just to expensive and doesn’t go far enough for your money.
Like I said in video RCP makes a great starter hammock kit for about 40 dollars, it got started my only complaint is it is a 10footer . While it works for me it is like sleeping in a bunk bed versus a king size mattress . But at your height it should be very comfortable and you can always put a halfway inflated mattress in it and it really helps to get comfortable, ya just gotta be willing to sleep on your back or side . I have always slept on my stomach in a bed but I haven’t had any trouble sleeping in hammock. You find your sweet spot and doze off and just hope it doesn’t split in half on you 😂 that episode has given me hammock PTSD 🤣

@1822MCAdv I have a hammock, never used it. That's why I keep asking questions lol. I've had for two years and never had it out. I can't even tell you how big it is! But it's just the hammock, no bug net attached or anything. Maybe this weekend.

@@edwinklaver yeah I forgot, well good news I have a 11 foot bottom entry/ birth canal bug net I’ll be it next time I stop by.paracord makes a ok structural ridgeline stretches a little but works, the ridge line is like 82% of the length of the hammock.
