    Pinex was a cough syrup, one my Nanny believed in! When you finally got it down, your body DID NOT COUGH. Probably in self-defense. Made you feel like you had been power-gnawing a pine tree, by the taste. It was a horrible, almost black color. Brings back memories! :-)

      You didn't cough because it had codeine in it. Codeine is an opiate and silences coughs.

The longer you war your mask idiots the faster your amun sistem will deturerat. Since when would the government ever tell you something that would save you. Its not called corona its called population control. If your going in a store to do a little shopping thats one thing waring it in the good out doors like i see some retards doing. Watching your friend fling shovelfuls of dirt is why I made my first wire screen in 2007. It was about 24x30" and about 3 and a half deep-framed in 2x4s. In the years since I've engineered them in oak and quarter inch stainless screen I tracked down in an industrial supplier in Kalihi. I had these visions of people tossing gold Dollars (13mm) away. It was great, as in 2007 I was digging the ash dump of the Ewa Plantation Hospital which was also a manufacturing dispensary. It was in use from 1935-67. I found a gold wedding band c1940 and about $8.50 face, 1907-70. Only about two clads. Miscellaneous Catholic and Buddhist devotional accy's. The Hospital was closer to the mill 1893-1935, to find that dump! Everything larger than 4oz was broken, Cokes and a cobalt Japanese med. I wanted bad. Wild root was a hair tonic, the enamel barbershop signs are way collectible. I think the "Fl. ozs. Was required by the congressional act in 1906. Nurses resided on the premises, so cheap jewelry and broken milks, Moanalua and Honolulu Dairymens milks, Honolulu Cokes all broken. I've found one Honolulu T.H. on Molokai and my only Christmas Coke in Lovelock, Nevada, a Reno, one of about 70 known.

    Pinex was a medicinal cough syrup that you mixed with honey. It made about a pint of syrup. I know because we used to be able to buy it and would mix it according to the recipe on the bottle. It was still available in the late 1960's and 70's at some of the old pharmacies in Mississippi.

    We don't find many Hutch sodas here in Ohio...not in Columbus anyway. I find quite a few embossed drug store bottles and crown top beers in my area but few embossed whiskeys or Hutch bottles...Ohio has a good variety of local soda and beer bottlers and some interesting ACL's from the 1930's to the 1970's.

    So I've been watching as many of your videos as I can. I absolutely love them. I'm trying to learn as much as I can from you, so that I know tips and techniques for when I go on my first dig. I've heard you say several times that you've made it to the "bottom." Is this in reference to the dump? Or is it the ash layer? Thank you for your time and for all the videos you make.

    • @adventurearchaeology
      @adventurearchaeology  5 лет назад +4

      The bottom would be to where the virgin ground or the beginning of the dump would have started! Thank you for taking the time to watch!

      @@adventurearchaeology , that makes a lot of sense. So I have another question for you. If I'm asking too much, just say so. Do you seem to find yourself just walking in random creeks that may happen to be along major roads? I'm researching some places to try some creek walking for this weekend, here in northwestern Florida. I'm looking at the sanborn maps and looking into the history of the area, trying to determine good possible places for this area. Although I feel like I'm going to end up looking in random creeks off the side of the road. Haha
      If you want to communicate outside of these comments, just let me know.
      Thank you again for everything you're doing. God Bless.
