I found most of mine on GlobalPenFriends, but you can find people all over, on Instagram, Tumblr, Discord, Reddit. And don't worry about stationery, it's the letter that counts. If you did want to include extras, you can add drawings, stories, poems, song recommendations, book reviews, recipes, all sorts! ❤️ I wish you luck with your penpalling

@@swagster8076 hii !! i get envelopes from walmart, letter paper and stickers from sanrio store, daiso, vendor events, mercari, and a store called kawaii things !! For websites I recommend kawaiipaperdream, charmsLOL, ebay, neokyo, and mercari :)

I'm now obsessed with these penpal vids now thanks to you 🛐 I know penpals aren't open but i was wondering how it works? I saw a comment you respond to that finding penpals can be through insta or tiktok so basically other content creators so they can be showcased in vids like these and was wondering if you like to stick to one person or multiple people and how many letters you go through until you both stop for a bit? I wanted to start journaling/scrapbooking and when i found these vids I want to start doing this with a penpal, do you have any tips? Like in the vid it said SHE wanted a summer theme, so does the other person always pick a theme or do you suprise them if they don't request a theme?
YAYYY IM GLAD !!! 🍀 I have multiple penpals but some I reply weekly, some I reply monthly, and some I reply to whenever I feel like it :) it really depends on the person and life gets pretty busy so sometimes it takes months for a reply but that’s okay since that means more to talk about 🙏 omg yes I love scrapbooking/journaling so much! you should def start penpalling it’s such a beautiful experience to write to someone and share gifts and life experiences

I saw in one of your videos descriptions say you shared a room for all 14 years of your life so you're the same age as me! Since it's traditional mail that would mean you would have to give your penpal physical information on where to send it, how did you get your parents to agree to that? I was thinking of if i get one i don't know to give out a PO box instead of an adress but i doubt my parents would let me
@@KeyToKee Hi love! I never saw this comment I’m so sorry.. I didn’t even get a notification 😭 yes I am you’re age yayyy haha. I find my penpals through tiktok and Instagram. I usually become moots with them and ask for a intro before asking to be penpals :) what I find more trusting is penpal accounts that are around my age with a main account aswell, but please do whatever you’re comfortable with! my parents agreed to me sending letters out since I’m quite far from my penpals. I live in Hawaii. I hope I can meet some of my penpals some day they’re really sweet and I like to make true connections with my penpals and it’s not only for the decoing and gift giving! I truly enjoy sending and writing letters it’s amazing and beautiful to receive your friends creativity and words through the mail :) maybe some day I’ll make a penpal guide because a lot of people ask for tips, supplies, how it works, how to get one, inspo, ideas, how to send the first letter and how to approach and talk with a “complete stranger”, etc.. I’ll make a poll post later asking you guys would be interested in a in depth guide for penpalling :)

I would love an in depth guide some time but don't feel too pressured to make it fast, take your time ♡ I haven't talked to my parents yet about it but I'm going to try to ease them into it a bit first... I think a penpal would not only be fun but benefit me a ton! This school year will stress me out a lot (first year back in-person since pre-covid and first year in high school, so exciting!) and sports on top of that so unwinding with happy mail will be nice. Hawaii is so beautiful, I hope you and your family weren't affected by the Maui fire. I live in Washington and the weather here has been changing so much, the other day it was thunder storming and the next it was hailing and 30 mins later it was sunny and hot! I'm sure you're real busy and are getting tired of all my questions but if you don't mind how do you come up with aesthetic vid ideas? Ty again ☆☆
