I've seen Slipknot at all points in their career. I loved the energy and intensity of early Slipknot in 1999/2002, it was the craziest things Ive seen from a band. They were literally setting each other on fire on stage back then. But, this performance marks the peak of their career as the original band. They sound great, they were tight and all together for one of the last times. They're still an amazing band today even with the line up changes, if anything they're just getting more and more refined. Their bodies don't allow for the completely chaotic shows from the past but their musicianship has improved as a result. I 1000% recommend seeing them live. You don't have to know the songs, you'll still have a great time. Corey Taylor is easily one of the greatest frontmen of all time and the band will get non-fans to do a bit of headbanging. Edit: I just realized I was supposed to be seeing them RIGHT NOW! I had tickets for their show but it was canceled for COVID.
