That poor kid never had a chance. She didn't seem to have a friend in the world. I felt so bad for her. All that wealth and she was alone. That baby looked just like her dad. The best thing people can give their kids is love, good examples, and an ear. The designer labels on the backs don't mean a thing if their hearts and souls are empty.

Lord I understand what you are saying but I disagree when you say that if you reach adulthood and fall apart when adversity strikes that your parents did not give you the necessary tools to live well. Parents can give their children all the necessary tools to live well and the children grow up to be adults and still fall apart when adversity strikes because it is their choice not the parents fault. Some people battles in life are harder than others and everyone cope differently through adversity. I'm sure Bobbi endured alot of dysfunction and adversity from a child into adulthood and when her mom passed in which they had a unbreakable and inseperable bond it probably threw her over the edge and the way she probably coped to soothe her hurt, pain, and grief may have been through drug use but she also missed her mom. I'm not saying that the path she chose to take was right but what's done is done. When I say been in a person shoes meaning having to been through a similar situation to understand how a person feels.
Bobbi Kristina missed her mom so much she needed her and having been that young a girl no mom .. it was simply too much .. May they both hold each other forever in heaven

Love is great but parents, and elders need to teach young people the right things to indulge in. Who did that for this kid? Who ever said "no" or "this is right and this is wrong"? I don't know because I wasn't there but I worked with young people over the years and it's easy to tell which ones are getting no guidance at home. VERY easy.

I hate to say this, but Whitney's mom seemed to be the majority of Whitney's problems. She was a little too involved in Whitney's personal life and didn't know when to step back. Yes, parents will be parents no matter how grown you are, but most have enough respect to know when to let go. Ms. Houston didn't.

Whitney was a grown adult, and more than capable of standing up for herself. It was her responsibility to protect herself if her mother caused that much stress in her life. As an adult, I’ve had to shut out both of my parents for that same exact reason. They don’t get to upset me anymore. My life has been much more peaceful with them not in it! I was also able to quit smoking and stay quit because they weren’t a constant emotional trigger anymore.
She was so adorable, I remember what a big deal it was when she was born. I used to work at a movie theatre and saw Her and her dad in person many times, they were the sweetest people. Very down to earth and you could tell he really loved his little girl. He is one of my fave celebs I interacted with!!
May both of them rest in peace. As I write it brings tears to my eyes the fond memories of both talented artists we had in them. Once in a life time voices of mother daughter vocalists. All try to sing like Whitney in these talent shows, that's how incredible her voice and she was. Peace Angels!!!

@C. Lord addiction is caused by severe trauma (mostly childhood trauma). Childhood trauma changes the way your brain functions and dopamine release and how it's absorbed. I used to believe the way you did until I educated myself. Even if never exposed to drugs or alcohol you can still become an addict.
This was not about drugs this was about their money, people that don't have really do not care what happen to the both of them, so stop hating and let them rest in peace, they have did what they have did and have you and others believing just what they want you to.
I believe that Nick Gordon had something to do with that poor baby’s death. Then he himself dies of an overdose several years later. What goes around, comes around.
There's so much evidence connecting him to her death look up the theories on RUclips . Also he never loved Bobbi Kristina he stole thousands of dollars from her bank account after she died or I think after she was admitted into hospice. I was 16 in mid-winter 1986 & glued to MTV … I’ll never forget Whitney’s “How Will I know” in hot-rotation at the time & blown-away by the power, tone & control of her voice … she was also cute as a button.
So much happened after that & I never imagined this story would have such a tragic ending for so many.

When kids grow up with a lot of alcohol or drugs around, they either try it or not, kids don't always copy their parents or their bad habits, but having a lot of drugs around makes it easy to experiment. Marlon Richard's, Keith Richard's son, was on the road with his dad for years and didn't do drugs, he saw his dad dealing with addiction and the hangers on, and didn't like it. When he married and had kids, he was a very hands on parent, very involved with his children and watchful. He obviously had every opportunity to get addicted but decided he didn't like the people around it in general. He was smart enough to make decisions and not get hooked. Whitney Houston was extremely young and lived a low key life before her sudden blast of fame, was already into drugs before all of it and just leaned into more and more. Bobbie was no help, he was just as caught up...they tended to downplay that their problems were serious, had tons of enablers and it was always glamorized...very sad.
It doesn't help when both parents we're into heavy drugs &for all we know while carrying Bobbie Krista who knows if Whitney still didn't do the drugs once in a while I believe that Whitney felt with the changing of times &women &glamor as she got older she felt she couldn't keep up on her appearance I believe it bothered her some &was one reason why she committed suicide that's another thing she should of thought about her daughter &how her daughter was close with her &when she died it hurt her daughter so bad she wanted to sing to make her mom proud but I also believe her father didn't do much to help save her till it was too late &I bet he regrets it every day of losing both of them do to drugs but now Bobbie Krista is with her mom my they R.I.P I remember this was such a heartbreaking story when it happened it still is I hope Bobbie brown smartened up&straightened his life out that was a big wake up call there I believe his daughter needed him most when her mom died&maybe he didn't see it as for Bobbie Krista I believe her boyfriend committed suicide due to false Accusations people assuming &blaming him &it being all over the news I believe he did love her &he was hurting that she died &they blamed him it was just a terrible tragic loss all together.

She was rushed 2 the hospital both days 4 A/D overdose & near nervous brakdown after her mom was discovered the afternoon of the event.

@@peridoteyes3728 i used to have this same mindset until i realized addiction is something truly hard to combat, especially alone, and no amount of money in the world changes that. when you’re in the addiction all you see is the high the drugs give you, and in the moment, you don’t realize the dangers.
I think some of her scars is due to falling when high on drugs.I had family member that would be high fall hit her head break teeth out, broke arm.

That is a truly heartbreaking story of the evil of drugs andpossibly greed on the boy friend's part. In the end nobody benefited. My sincere condolences to her dad and her remaining family. She had so much to offer, as did her mom, and it was all for naught.

I didn't know he's now deceased!!! Wow!! I've been a Substance abuse Counselor since 1992 and this is the textbook story of the dysfunctional family. So sad and despite having money and fame, addiction still kills. The lesson from this is addiction is real and young people who are aware of family members who struggle, intervention is necessary to save your life.

Honestly, I think he was killed. He was the smooth cleaner for powers who wanted that money or thought own that money… think about it. He thought he gets a deal and probably he was nobody’s son. Nobody knew what is gonna happen to the money even after Bobby Christina’s death. I think he was set up to bring down Mother and daughter and at the end they finished him to secure everything. People tend to forget stars have different reality in their marriages. They don’t live like civilian people. They all do burn life heavier.

I believe that Nick Gordon had everything to do with her demise. That autopsy provided a lot of imformation about the condition of her body, missing teeth, bruises, deadly concoction of drugs and alcohol. The movie showed how he beat and disrespected her. She was so small and fragile.

That girl was cursed the day her mother died onwards. She literally was never the same. You could see it on that ill advised reality show how high she was all time and how bad she was struggling to cope. She died of a broken heart. I believe she did the drugs to somehow try n escape the pain of her mama's death.

What they fail to tell you is that Bobbi Kristina almost drowned in a bathtub at the same hotel as Whitney the day before Whitney died. She was actually just released from the hospital and had returned to the hotel the day Whitney died . It’s not hard to murder a drug addict.
