Great Job Melissa! I enjoyed this video a lot. I wish I would have been able to come and see your table! I've done a few yard sales and read some blogs that clothes are never really a good selling item (unless it's baby or kids). One tip to be able to sell it all is to put them in bundles by size or style and sell for a low price that way less popular items also get bought.
So happy for you be able to get out and sell some stuff and met some subscribers! I did a flea market in the early 2000's we had lots of fun, met people and made money 💲💰the one did was indoors! Good thing too because winters in MA are freezing!! Lol

When things warm up I bet you do alot better. Also I think around April or May the biggest yard sale comes through Georgia and Florida you might want to look into that if it's close enough to you.

In the early 1970’s I had to go to flea markets every Sunday…because my dad was a dealer….I had to add sales tax….he made a chart so it was easier for me to charge the right amount….

That's stupid they wanted you to pay full price for the other table. I've sold at the Flea Market before,it's hit and miss,but always made more than the table costs me. Your subs were so sweet on camera. You meet some of the nicest people at the flea market,sweet of you to give those ladies stuff.💕

That's so good! My boyfriends grandparents do yard sales in their small town and they sometimes bank 300 in 2 days. It's a great way to make a quick buck and give things a new home!

Idea: next time you have an overload of stuff from your videos get some brown gift bags and fill them with a few things then staple them closed and sell them for $5 each as mystery bags

Hello Melissa, I’’m so happy that you did this. I have a lot to get rid of stuff I have been buying mystery boxes. Now my husband is saying you can’t make money if it’s just sitting in the boxes. I want to resell but really just didn’t think it thew. So I’ll give that a try.
That is so funny about the perogies…..here in Edmonton Canada we always have perogies at our flea markets! What a good idea love, to have a sale at the flea market.

OMG that was fun because it brought back memories of when I would go to the flea market in Las Vegas. They were the place to get all the crazy ear rings and clothes! I never haggled because i felt bad for the folks running the tables as it was always so hot and setting up was hard so I would just pay whatever they had marked. LOL Love your videos!!

Dang, I would love your weather. I live in northern Ontario, so we have cold and snow. Tonight it's supposed to go down to about -25 Celsius (-13 Fahrenheit). It's awesome you had fun and the sales worked out. 💖

MANY MANY years ago when I was in 8th & 9th grade we lived in Lake Worth & would go to the Lake Worth flea market with produce I remember it being so busy back in those days we always sold out by noon.
Next time have some type of banner advertising your channel. You could get more subs that way. I bought a metal clothes rack from Amazon. Not expensive. You should check out Vista print and see about making business cards with your channel info. That way you can always have some on hand to pass out. More subs! More subs! 🎉

Your parents crack me up!! I had a busy January with markets and they just DRAIN you. I often just leave my stuff in the car when I get home. Also I have that same clothing rack and any amount of wind will just take it away :( I had to get a flat storage tote and weight it down....it fit perfectly on the base on the rack. But it's definitely not made to hold a ton of stuff. Hugs to Paco!!

I think you should aim for spring so it's not too hot and not too cold.
I have always preferred a waiter's apron with a few pockets for my cash and coin.
I had a nightmare with fanny packs with things flying out when I reached in.
But it's you that has to figure out which suits you best.
Can you have garage sales from your house?
That's another way to sell stuff and may be a little more relaxing.

Good for you. Yes, it can be really tiring. The city I live in has a yearly 3 day garage sale. People come from all over. I mark my stuff cheap because I want it to go. Anything left goes to charity. Nothing back in the house. Takes me 2 days to set-up and by the 3rd day of selling and re-arranging stuff I am exhausted. But yes, it’s so much fun. For you that is a lot of work to set up and sale all on the same day. April would be good. June May be to hot and humid. I am overjoyed that you made that much money. Can’t wait to see what you buy next. It was a very nice day.

Oh my gosh, I know where you were! I get so excited when I see people from where I live. Maybe you'd have even better luck at the Ramona Flea Market? It seems like that place is always packed. It's a shame that the one here in St. Augustine got shut down because that would've been a decent option too.
