Dictyocaulus viviparus in a 4-month-old calf

Lungworm (Dictyocaulus viviparus) adult worms were recovered from the lung of a 4-month-old calf. Larvated eggs were observed in the uterus of a female worm, and larvae were found by fecal flotation and Baermann examinations.
You can see characteristic dark food granules in the intestinal cells! COOL :)
