Good video - a few points to add: (1) you only ever need one of those Weber cubes...they'd love for you to use 2 or 3 each time, but a single cube will get a full chimney flaming hot every time. (2) You don't need to run the Looftlighter for that long - you were good after a few minutes. Keep in mind, the point of this thing is to get the fire started...not to get it up to your target temperature right away. (3) The main point of the metal plate on the bottom side is so you can lay it down and the hot part doesn't tip over and burn whatever surface it's placed upon. I'd actually never noticed that it doubles as a bottle opener, so thanks for pointing that out!
Pile up charcoal in a pyramid. Touch Looftlighter to the coals and press trigger. Wait about 20 seconds until you see sparks. As sparks start to fly, slowly pull Looftlighter back. In about 60 seconds you have a large area that has started. No lighter fluid taste and it's a spark AND fan which lets you keep fanning the hot spots. I got one for my birthday last year and just used it this weekend for the first time. An added bonus is that since you don't use lighter fluid, you don't have high "licking flames" so it's way easier to control the temp - especially at the beginning. All you need is coal. No fluid or starters necessary and it works great.
I use the electric one. Come back after 10 mins then I use my air blower. Works amazing. I watched so many videos no one knows how to turn on fire lol. It’s sad man
Its an elaborate process because you do it all wrong. Never seen someone use three lighter cubes when u only need one. And when doing it you take the grill grate off and sit it inside where the charcoal lay so that way when its ready you can just dump it in and put the grill grate back on top.

Kongsumer use the chimney of insanity and the grill fan by BBQ Dragon. You can have lump charcoal white it 3 minutes
