I'm getting more and more interested in the energy vampires. Its been made apparent that they aren't turned like the average vampire and its a mystery how they came to be. I hope Colin figures out where they come from by the end of the season.
They're definitely born that way, because Collin's mom is extremely old. He doesn't even seem to think anything of it. But maybe she's not his real mom and she kidnapped him from a young age and turned him somehow. Not sure how they would turn someone into an energy vampire though, since they don't drink blood and don't have fangs. Maybe they'd have to bore someone to near death, and then feed them their blood to turn them. But I think they're just born that way, because that weed energy vampire was young and didn't know how he became one either.
I read a theory that sounds plausible: If you're bored to death by an energy vampire, then you also become an energy vampire. Colin says that his mother's still alive and boring, so maybe she bored him to death, which also makes the person forget? No sure how the whole "born that way" thing would work because the energy vampires aren't all the same age, appearance-wise.
My fav little detail is one of the guys who works with Collin Robinson, who has been drained so much as the series progresses you’ll notice his hair is turning grey 💀
Matt Berry, Kayvan Novak, Taika Waititi, Jermaine Clement.. anything these guys touch is pure gold and to have them all in one place.. this is the best comedy series ever imo! I thought nothing would knock trailer park boys off my top spot 😂
I was wondering, if they can’t enter businesses without permission, how do they enter grocery stores and supermarkets? Then I realized, that’s what the greeters are for.
well old vampires have a couple ways mind controlled thralls that they send in first to let them in the proper way or in a pinch they can break down an entire building or roofs but I guess you live forever so just go right after construction where someone would have to let you in
Many supermarkets have texts like "Welcome!" "Come again!" on the doors. I wonder if it could be enough to let them come in, since it's a general invitation. Perhaps best not to put those "welcome to our home" type decoration invitations on personal dwelling front doors (or mats) either, just to be safe!

As a fan of both Always Sunny and WWDITS (and an avid subscriber to Hulu), I’d love to see a crossover Sunny-in-the-Shadows episode. And while I’m dreaming, Danny DeVito guest star on Shadows. Fingers crossed.
With the special powers thing, Nadja has wall crawling and Jenna can go invisible but what about the others? Do they say it in the show? Because i think Lazlo's is hypnosis (he seems to be great at it and does it a lot where as Nandor can’t do it)
Just love this show, the phrases they come up with, my favorite is "brain scramblies", funny thing, I have 2 ex sons-in-law with that condition, ha ha 🦇!
I'm just wondering if Vampires in the world of WWDITS are able to consume blood from their victim without completely draining them much like in VTM / WOD. Also with the introduction of the Siren, what if Guillermo instead was able to take all of the bodies he has to hide to the Siren for her to easily consume?
pretty certain the answer is yes - in the episode where guillermo leaves, laszlo has a victim there but declines to kill him. the victim even asks, "wait, arent you gonna drain all my blood until i die?" and laszlo says no because itll make too much of a mess, so presumably he had already started to drink from him and then stopped
To add to it there's a scene where nandor is complaining about victims being left "shouting and screaming, half drunk" and said "please finish a whole victim before starting a new one"
Gotta give him bravery points for trying though. I guess that after you're a thousand years old, projective vomiting on an unknown level doesn't really scare you anymore.
Such fun watching the children in their Earthly Bodies, scampering out of the sun light, feeding on blood from the victims in the night. Enjoying the 'Pleasures' afforded when you persist in a material existence. Your Time will come children, you will be so glad, no more wheel of conflicts and resolutions, just stagnant bliss.
I absolutely adore this show. I have watched Season 1 and 2 probably three times now. However, I was really sad to see that Jemaine Clement left the writing table for the third season. Unfortunately, (for me at least), it's obvious that his subtle genius with the dialogue and script writing is sorely missed in the third season. Not trying to knock the other writers working on it. I'm sure they're great at their craft, I think they just need to be led by Clement's style for this particular show. I'm curious if any other fans have felt the shift. With season 1 and 2 I would be pretty much tittering and howling with laughter at EVERY scene. Now I just sort of give a pity laugh once or so every episode, almost for old time's sakes. I hope that Jemaine comes back to the writing table for season 4.
Idk what you are taking about. Season 3 is amazing. Better than previous seasons. The character developments are amazing and so are the storylines. It’s high time we let new talent show themselves.
I felt a shift, too. The humour in S3 usually goes just a bit too far for me personally and seems to rely more on practical aspects and I prefer a bit more subtlety or the humour coming from the characters' strange attitudes (in my currently tired state I find my issue hard to express in English, hopefully the meaning still gets across). I still absolutely love the characters! And Guillermo's development, and the episodes Gail, The Cloak of Duplication and The Casino (!), as well as the Colin & Laszlo and Laszlo & Sean friendship and whatever is going between Nandor and Guillermo (Guillermo's jealousy in Gail was amazing!). But most of the time the jokes just go a little bit too far for me (like Nandor's loud comedically used wailing in The Escape, or that the doll had to possess a big rat for absurdity, and the destructive car rebuilding, or Laszlo buying all the electronics - for me the scene would have been humourous enough with just him hypnotizing the cashier). This does not mean I dislike the show now, but I hope they will calm down a little for the rest of S3 and for the upcoming seasons.
The original 3 cameoing as dancers for the council in the beginning is my favorite
I think it’s a scene from season 1 (maybe?)
Jermaine Clements facial expression killed me hahaa
They seem to be senior members of the council as well
@@BuddhaFang Yes it is! I don't remember the exact episode but it's definitely from season 1
