A couple of years ago everyone was panicking about the warm weather, low water levels in the Great Lakes, and wildfires. Snow fixes all of those “crises.” Relax. Get outside and enjoy it.
IF you get snow. In any case, snow does not necessarily fix wildfires. Some fires in continue to burn underground in the winter, a phenomenon known as "zombie fires" or "overwintering fires". These fires can spread underground and burn all winter, even under snow and ice, and then emerge in the spring as wildfires. Re the Late Great Lakes, water levels have always fluctuated. I'd be far more concerned about the high levels of pollution in the Lakes. There are dozens of AOCs (Areas of Concern) around the Lakes (surprisingly, more in Canada than in the US). I wouldn't swim or allow my kids to swim in any of them, that's for sure.

@RideAcrossTheRiver Not too long ago, the news just told the weather, as-is. They didn't try to sensationalise it like they have these past few years. And I grew up in the Canadian sticks without electricity or running water. We did have a radio for news and weather updates.
It’s amazing southern Ontario within 200 miles of Toronto makes national News including Quebec yet if western Canada especially Alberta doesn’t make the national news I wonder why ?! Oh I forgot larger portion of population down there and votes because central and eastern Canada doesn’t care about western Canada but majority equalization payments goes to eastern Canada and none if any goes to help western Canada not so equal after all !
LOVE ❤️ your comment !!! MOST accidents happened on our highways in Canada cuz of Turban truck drivers who don't know how to drive in snow 🙄 They only know sand and ride their camel !!!
You hate the idea of public safety warnings about bad weather and unsafe roads ... really? I lost a high school friend and her fiance because of icy roads. They and a semi spun out on roads covered in black ice. But you dislike weather and roads information.
Omg !! This is Canada 🇨🇦 Of course we have snow and WE TRUE Canadians know how to drive in snow unlike some Turba truck 🚚 Drivers who cause most accidents in our highways. They only know how to ride camels 🐫 in the sand !! LONG LIVE 🇨🇦 and winter WE are use to it 💯

I would prefer the four seasons if winter and summer were each only six weeks long with the rest of the year divided equally between spring and fall. Summer and winter totally suck in Ontario.
I’d be ok with the 4 seasons if 3 of them didn’t exist. Sorry, I’m sunshine, sunshine, sunshine, sunshine. I do love a good thunderstorm once in a while though.
@@rayray8687 I used to like summer but I now find it too hot, too humid and too buggy. Until about 15 years ago, winter was fairly reliably snowy here in Ottawa, but now we get a lot of rain and freezing rain. I think the last decent snowy winter we had was in 2008. I used to love the slow unfolding of spring in the UK where at the end of January (winter), snowdrops and daffodils would make an appearance. Oaks were the last trees to leaf out at the end of May. Summers were thankfully short. Fall was four months long and there were still flowers at the end of December. My favourite season here is the fall because one can actually enjoy hiking and camping in the great outdoors without being plagued to death by mosquitoes, deer flies, horseflies and blackflies.
I lived in Alberta for 35 years , only have snow tires last couple of years. You need to know how to drive in snow season. Drive slow, keep lots of room from the car in front , stop early, off gear stopping or slowing (only you know how, do not try if you do not know how, practice in a parking lot first till you are comfortable), drive the routing you knows best, good all season radiial. Stop car little early to give yourself some room if it skid. Anyway, slow down is the key when driving in snow
The four seasons is what Canada is about. Love it or hate it personally I love Canada
Definitely don't love this country
We are Canadian-enjoy snow🇨🇦
Why don't you enjoy it and stand outside 🤡
Yes I live in Edmonton
I rarely get snow in my part of Ontario being 45 minutes from Detroit

Up in Thunder Bay, while the temperatures may be cold, we don't have nearly as much snow. It's been a little while since our last storm this season.
Don’t they say this every year
Yeah, issuing warnings about adverse weather is how we do it today. If you like, you can return to a thousand years ago.
