I’m getting a lot of comments about the deers and groundhogs in the city. I live on a dead end street. The lot next door is empty and never been developed before (5 acres). The deers never bothered my yard before until this spring. It’s like a small over grown park surrounded by houses on all sides. I hope this make sense lol
Is the cardboard to keep weeds out? Im new to gardening
E J hi, yes. The suppress and kill off the grass
@@Sweetenv77 We live in Michigan zone 5 to 6. We have an acre of land with wet and dry sun and wet and dry shade and everything in between. We use cardboard in every garden type we have, even the produce garden and orchard areas. Cardboard is amazing as weed and grass control, as well as the establishment of healthy garden beds. The paper biodegrades after a couple of years, so you will have to reapply, but the number of weeds and grass will be manageable from there on out. **remember to remove the tape and staples, they are made of nasty stuff**
You should do a go find me to buy that land and turn it into gardens!
Hello Mrs. Moya. Please be careful of deer ticks and lymes disease. Please read my earlier comment from this video. I believe in giving people’s flowers while they live. Tell your family hello. God bless you.
Hey garden friends, I miss you guys. I pray you all are well. 💜
Miss you too
Thank you! We miss you too. Love your garden, especially your hydrangeas! Purple is my current favorite color. I actually have purple Endless Summer this year. Btw, if you have time what size are the clay pots your hydrangeas are planted in? The ones in Hydrangea Lane?
Miss you and the garden as well. Everything looking Marvelous!
Greetings @ Garden Addictz
Enjoyed the tour of your Garden purple rain ☔️ is amazing 😉 the flowerbeds are beautiful...
You are a beautiful woman, a great gardener, and a sweet mama! You are a trifecta!
I love "the neighbors are breaking their necks" !!! Sometimes I feel so proud when I see the neighbors staring at my garden when they walk by!! Your garden is beautiful!! Keep up the great work!
Same here, Beauty inspires. You go girl😉
That's what I love about your channel is the realness and nothing is perfect. This is how it is will all of us and it's just reassuring to know we are all in the same place. AND you made me fall in love with the clearance section at the blue store. Best buy this season so far, 3 proven winners hibiscuses for a $1 each. 😍
Girl that's a good deal. My best deal is 7.50 CDN proven winner hydrangea.
The surprise plant looks like a foxglove. Very old fashioned beautiful plant. Reseeds itself
I was inspired to go to Lowe’s and Home Depot this past Friday and I hit the mother load on the clearance rack. I spent only $40 for an assortment of plants mulch and river rock. I made a friend at the check out counter. I rescued two hydrangea plants off the clearance for half off. They were $25 regular price and I got them for $12 each. Score me. You are a fantastic representation of positive growing energy. I love your channel and all that you do. Can’t wait to see how all my plants explode next year. Thank you a lot.
Oh, the bloom that you thought was a weed-- it is a digitalis or foxglove. An unusual one that was in all the catalogs a few years ago.
I was going to comment but you beat me to it! Might be Digitalis canariensis
, Canary Island foxglove
I absolutely LOVE your enthusiasm when you talk about your plant babies! You're an inspiration! 🌹🌻🌺💐
I just love the enthusiasm in your voice for gardening!!! I have been gardening for nearly 40 years. It is exciting to see a younger generation embracing this fulfilling hobby!!! Happy Gardening!!!
BIG UP JAMAICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The whitewash on those containers was a brilliant idea. It really brings unity to the grouping!
That limelight hedge is exquisite!
I know the deer and groundhogs are giving you a hard time, but I LOVE your front garden bed this year. The purple and lime green colors together are just stunning.
wow, everything is looking amazing! I can't believe you did so much work with everything going on. not to mention so many plants are rescues!
Hey Yulia, it doesn’t even feel like I did much lol. But thank you.
the pink flowered plant is a Foxglove, not sure what variety but they self sow pretty well. Glad to hear your mom is able to come over, my SIL is from Jamaica. best, Sullivan
So beautiful!! Good for you for not giving up in the face of so much adversity. Your persistence is rewarded by so much luciousness! I hope the twins and all the family are doing well. So happy to see another video. It's so inspirational.
They twins are amazing Maryann. 5 months old this month. Thank you 💜💜💜
I am so glad I found your channel. Loving your videos. Love your enthusiasm. Your personality is so engaging. I look forward to watching all your videos.
It is God’s blessing when people shower other people in honor of their work and character. Continue to give people their flowers while they live. Live in unconditional love.To God Be The Glory. God bless you in Jesus Christ, Amen.
Wild animals and new baby and the garden still popping in the front yard 😊.
Popping!!! Lol if nothing else get accomplished, the front has to be
Thanks to you I discovered the blue store’ discount section and I’m popping perennials in little by little. I have a 19000 sq ft lot so I have a lot of space to cover. I was using wildflowers like a cover until I could find an affordable way to find plants. Because of your advice, I now have started a hydrangea hedge.
OMG you are hilarious, I absolutely love that you love hydrangeas as they are one of my favorite flowers, too! I am so happy you have come across so many of them. I too, love to shop the Home Depot clearance side of the plants and especially at Lowe’s. Happy you’re getting help with the children.
Well I just subscribed to your channel. First time for you to show up!! I absolutely love love love you! You make it real❣️❣️ can’t wait to see more of you!! Thank you for this bright and beautiful morning show. Much love to you
Continue to give people their flowers while they live. God bless you in Jesus Christ, Amen.
Love your color scheme and the way you white washed the pots. Great way to make the arrangement look cohesive. Good job!
Use shavings of Irish spring bar soap for deer, castor oil and dish soap mix for gorundhogs
Thanks!! I will try that out 🎉
Thanks for the tour. Glad your mom is there to help you😊
That weed you were taking about looks like a foxglove
I came across your page by error but I see that you are like me to get the plants when they are half way on their legs and discounted and bring them home anf give them life. way to go. Wonderful gardens.
As soon as I heard your voice I knew you were a fellow yardie so I subscribed before even getting through the first 3 mins😉. I'm new to flower gardening and your garden is definitely inspiration for my garden goals. Keep up the beautiful work.
Your purple rain garden is absolutely enchanting! What fertilizer do you use for your flowering plants? Sooo nice!
I use Melorganite to repel deer. They hate how it smells. I also live in the city with abandoned railroad bed behind me, lower Hudson Valley NY. Deer herds roaming the street. I am fenced with 5 ft black chain link fencing. I tie little sachet balls onto the outside of the fence that I make with either old pantyhose or those little Peds you try on shoes with. I also put it on the lawn with a spreader. You can also tie the sachets onto bamboo stake amongst your plants. I saw a deer today walk along my fence with his nose in the air sniffing and he just walked away. I just have too big of a garden to be spraying all the time. This works for me. Also, your pink plant is a foxglove as others have pointed out. Mine come out in the spring by July they are going to seed and I just take my hand and run it down the stalk so the seeds fall to the ground when I clean up the plants. I think you have a different variety.
"That deer going to turn into deer jerky"🤣🤣🤣 that's the reason why I enjoy watching your videos!!! Many blessings to you and your family!!!
💜💜💜
Everyone wants to turn their hydrangeas blue...but that pink is just gorgeous.
That plant you thought was a weed is a foxglove I think.. really pretty. You are very inspiring. Love your work ×
The pink flowering unknown plant looks like a foxglove. Looks awesome!
I love the purple rain garden, looks fabulous.
Can’t wait to see all those limelights in full bloom!
You are superwoman, with the kids and twin you still able to make your garden look so pretty.
I try
I love you, your authenticity, and your passion! I love that you're genuine and it blows my mind that you've done so much with your newborns inside!!! 💞 My first year growing dahlias too and I am loving them!!!
I luv your enthusiasm! More garden tours please 😍
Hey 👋 welcome back, I missed you and your garden! I bought FIVE hydrangeas on clearance! 😊
I'm a new fan! Your garden is beautiful and you are charming!
I just love your passion and the garden will look fantastic! Do me a favor and raise your birdbath and the other figurine with a terra cotta pot. Whitewash it like you did the other ones and turn it upside down so we can see those beautiful pieces. Great Job!
C Mac thanks for watching. My bird bath is too heavy and already tall enough for this space. As for the lady, she could use a boost. Thanks for the suggestions.
@@GardenAddictz My husband bought me two stone urns from a car boot sale (they are similar to a flea market) but they were too low. He made me concrete plinths by poring cement into a strong cardboard box. you cant see the plinths because they are surrounded by lavender..they look great.
Look at you lady! The garden looks beautiful!!!🥰I knew you could do it!!
I love the broad selection of the plants you have in your garden.Such lovely colours. You have really made good use of your space
Thank you
I so enjoyed your video. I am sitting on my front porch with my cup of coffee being inspired
Beautiful garden 🌹🌼

Proven Winners needs to view and pick you up as a super gardener!!!
Yes, it would be nice to see newbies
Just absolutely lovely. Thank you for sharing your talent and enthusiasm, it’s very inspiring. Enjoy your moms visit and stay well.
The terracotta with white-wash is beautiful! May need to do this with my pots
Agree! I’m thinking the same!
You have such a green thumb! Love it!
Love the white washed pots with the chalk paint!. My morning is taken up repotting wildflower seedlings for my butterfly garden!
I just found your Channel....and I am thrilled. Your garden is so beautiful and you are adorable.
I’ll be spending today catching up on your other videos! 🌻🌻🌻
💜💜
Your garden is looking wonderful! Don't apologize for the outdoor noises. It's ok.
Your energy is awesome!
Great job inspiring new gardeners.
Loved the tour, thank you!
Love your Videos! The plant you thought is a weed is Foxglove. Let the plant set seeds, collect them and sow them right away where you want them to grow. Easy plant.
Garden is looking beautiful, girl! And that plant you thought was a weed is a lovely foxglove. Let it go to seed and it’ll spread them everywhere. They’re usually a biennial that bloom in the second year, but yours looks to be blooming in the first ... score!
It's wonderful to see another video from you! Everything looks perfect. Don't sweat it and don't apologize for anything. I was so happy to see your baby plants flourish like they are. xoxoxo
the plant u thought was a weed is a foxglove
Pull your statue of the lady closer to the front. The plants hide it. Your gardens are gorgeous .
Another nice video.....girl I'm bout to go out and work in my yard..you lit a fire under me 😆. Thanks be bless 🙏
Love your garden!! Purple rain theme is looking amazing and I LOVE Hydrangea Lane!!! You motivate me to get out and garden more!!
Because of your many videos about hydrangeas I have become obsessed with! Unfortunately I do not see them on clearance where I live but I'm still hunting. Thank you for sharing your garden creativity with all of us 🤗
I love seeing one of my own with a garden channel :) I love to garden and cannot wait to have the best garden in our new home this upcoming season :)
I definitely needed to see this tour today because I am fighting rabbits eating my plants. Especially my hydrangeas and roses. So I'm also spraying rabbit repellent every couple of days. I'm also a hydrangea lover and Lowes bargain shopper. We have a lot of the same plants. Stop apologizing for anything. Your garden is GORGEOUS!!! BTW that "weed" is a Foxglove.
I love your hydrangeas next to you outside table set so beautiful!!!
Your "weed" is the most gorgeous foxglove I have ever seen!!!!! Oh my gosh, your garden is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I absolutely love it!
Love your garden... very colorful, I love that, color
Wunderschön, wirklich inspirierend!!!Vielen Dank.
I love that other garden channels gift you plants. What a great community!
Beautiful color contrast with the lime green and purple..one of my favorite combos!
Wow! You’ve done a gorgeous job on your garden! Very inspirational! I also love hydrangeas, clearance plants and blue pots. So much fun to hear your enthusiasm during the tour! 🌸🌸🌸🌱🌱🌱🌿🌿🌿💕
Love your gardens! I am also Hydrangea crazy. 30 now!
I got 3 hydrangea standards as replacement plants because my hydrangea shrubs didn't make it through the winter, or so I thought .... They were just late to break dormancy. I had no idea they were going to send tree standards, I thought I'd get what I bought when I called the company I bought them through because they have a 1yr warranty; but instead they sent me trees. Im not complaining, Im just shocked & I don't know where Im going to put them. I have one in a pot & I'm want to put the other two in the ground somewhere.
I have five Hibiscus plants too. I keep mine in pots & bring them in over winter. I had one in the ground but they always take forever to break dormancy, like they wont emerge until Father's Day in my zone 4B in MN.
I love hibiscus & hydrangea!
Ever since I found your channel I'm reminding my daughter to check the clearance aisle for plants & today she came home with purple fountain grass for $.50 a piece! She gave no thought to where we're going to put 10 fountain grass plants but she kept saying "$.50 a plant - I'm not leaving them!" Your yard is gorgeous
I like the noise in the background, I moved from the city to the country and it's nice to hear those construction sounds again, kind of soothing :) Great video - your hard work is paying off!
You are an inspiration to me. How you rescue plants, shop thriftily, love your gardens and are so hands-on with your beautiful (human) family. I look forward to your videos. Your excitement is infectious. 🥰
Beautiful, my hydrangea sister!!
Wow! Your Purple Rain garden is beautiful! I would never have guessed from looking at it that it had faced water and deer issues earlier in the season. At about the 13 minute mark, I think your mystery plant might be a foxglove? I love your whole yard, it is all gorgeous, and I love that you show that you don't need to be a millionaire to crate such a lovely space!
💜💜💜
You have done a wonderful job. I let my garden go when I got sicker with an autoimmune disease, but now I am getting back into it. I started with some heavy pruning and my sub tropical garden is looking much neater. Your videos inspire me to get busy adding some colour! Thank you. Your garden so pretty and inspirational, and best of all, full of colour 🌱🌻🍄🌳🥕🌺🪴🌳🌴
Loved the tour. Psyched that you are discovering dahlias- they are amazing. Love your hydrangeas- I am also an addict. I have a hedge of ‘Pillow Talk’ that I can’t wait to see bloom for the first time this season. Thanks for showing us what you can do with flowers that might end up in the compost - inspirational!
It all looks so healthy and beautiful!! This was a real treat to watch. Thank you. X
That "weed" is not a delphinium - it's a foxglove. LOVELY garden !!
Girl, first let me say, I love you...hot mess and all. You should be very proud of yourself for going out and making this long a** video...we all have been missing you, but understand your loaded plate. Thank you for keeping it real. Happy gardening!!!
P.S. why are your limelights blooming already? I'm in southern Virginia, and although healthy, haven't seen a bloom yet...jelly.
WOW your garden looks great!!! Everything filled in so nice and you did a great job with your plantings.Keep up the good work.
Missed you, too.
I love that you are friends with gardeners I also follow.
Between you and Yulia, I've been inspired to plant a hydrangea hedge to screen a chain link fence. I'm mixing varieties and incorporating a few other shrubs such as 'The Blues' Colorado blue spruce, Black Lace Elderberry, Coralberry and a few perennials in the pink and purple vein).
I was thinking of getting a Limelight tucked in the shadowy end, but if you see Haas Halo Hydrangea, mmm! The leaves are dark green and the blooms are almost lacy like a lace cap variety except all are open. I'm going to be on the lookout.
Everything is looking lovely. I know it's been a tough year in the garden for you but it doesn't show. Great tour!
“Say it with me...CLEARANCE” OMG
BEAUTIFUL!!! Mine is not half as grand and I only have an 11 yr old to take care of! You are in good company with having a difficult gardening year! I tried my hand at growing from seed, first successful year and I had rabbits nearly wipe out all that I grew from seed! Those pots at the gate look fantastic! And I LOVE the combo you have in your window box on the porch! I believe your mystery weed is either foxglove or penstemon. I almost pulled several snapdragons that I thought were weeds! Love plants that I don't have to pay for or labor growing!
Looks like a foxglove to me too, but... it's got blooms all around, which only hybrid foxgloves do, and those don't normally seed themselves well, so it's still a bit of a mystery!!
live how full and varied your garden is without being over packed. you can see every planting and enjoy them all!!! love those daisies!!!💗👏💗
Is there some development going on closeby in your community? That may be the reason for the increased deer activity and now your garden is their new buffet table. I love love love your white-washed containers at the garden gate! Taking notes......
I LOVE your enthusiasm!!! It's so refreshing and uplifting and I just adore you! Your gardens are sooooooooooo beautiful it's just insane! How do you do this with twins??? Supermom hello! ;)
Your dahlias are going to be great!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your garden. Thank you so much for sharing. I found out about clearance plants from you but when I saw your Blush Hydrangea, I said to myself, "I need to go to the "blue" story this weekend." I enjoyed this video.
I planted Bordeaux in the ground last year &they did great. This yr I put them in the backyard along with the Bubblegum Vistas...so far not doing well. They just aren’t growing at the same rate as last yr..I think the cool Spring slowed everything. Mine get sun & weekly fertilizer. Your gardens are lovely....I can’t imagine how hard to do all this with little ones.
I’m thinking I got a bad batch. Maybe the grower this year had a fungus or something because I lost one right after I did this video. It just died smh
What a talent wow 😍
At 13:15 those are pink fox gloves. Love your garden!
Beautiful garden! Love your enthusiasm.
Your garden is very lovely,I am retired and started a little garden it is nice and hot here in Jamaica but I am enjoying my gardening.Your plants are truly beautiful your hard work shows.
Big up yuhself Yvonne
Hello Mrs. Moya. You are brilliant and resilient. Thank you for sharing your videos on how to rescue and save perennials and other plants that are almost dead. I have been in awe at the work you have done, you are doing, and your success stories. I pray you are blessed abundantly and to the increase of overflowing favor that you will not have room to receive. I believe you will share your overflowing abundant blessings with other people in need. God bless you in Jesus Christ, Amen.
If you hadn’t mentioned the challenges with animals and watering I would have never known! Everything looks lush and beautiful. Love the purple theme!
The garden is coming along looking great and Oh my goodness that sitting area with those pink hydrangeas is so romantic! I love it!!
Goooorgeous garden! I really hope you can eventually show us how you divide them in the fall, that is the one thing I'm so afraid to do with my flowers. Btw, that pink "weed" is a foxglove. They're biennials and their seeds will keep giving you new blooms. One of my faves.
I love hydrangeas but they do not grow in the Low Arizona desert so I am happy you are sharing yours with me!
Absolutely beautiful garden and wonderful collections
