BEST ones are MARTIAL UNIVERSE and SHROUDING HEAVENS and BATTLE THROUGH THE HEAVENS. Unfortunately this main character doesn't seem to have much of a personality except being VERY PASSIVE and just BIDING HIS TIME... If something bothers him he just HIDES for a 100 years or so.
@@1cmnsents To each it's own...and that's why the series is called Mortal's Journey to Immortality cause he's deviating away and away from mortal lifestyle.... He hides because he is powerless to stop them he doesn't have that magical mc power up in the midst of battle like typical mc... That's called being cautious and those series you've mentioned those MCs wouldn't last if they were in place of Han Li...
@@ches8158 this donghua is really interesting. Sometimes I don't just get why a character powers up for no reason in btth or yuan zun. But here it's methodical and comes with some difficulty. In most anime, only the main character improves in cultivation through some cheap means. It's always like that. Others just idle by and most times watch till the main character catches up with them. And when the main character eventually fight them, they don't go all the way. It's disgusting. It's cheap. I love the scheming in this anime. It just shows our human frailties and Han Li exceptional ability to survive.

If only this girl Yuan Yao was considered to be a future waifu for MC harem, but instead the author never even once try to make them be in love and just want the two of them being a friendly alliance and even finishing the 1st Light Novel.
