The silent effect caused by entering a vacuum that cannot propagate sound at Oxide Station is one of the best parts of this CTR remake.👍👍
What I love about this is that both versions look "correct", in my mind. I've been playing CTR for about 20 years (fucking hell, I've gotten old) and it's incredibly nostalgic to see all of the tracks. However, in Nitro-Fueled, all of the remasters look incredible but also correct in their own way. Everything has been updated for the times, but both old and new tracks are perfect to me. It's such an incredible remaster of a classic game with so many new additions that I'm in awe.
One of the weirdest changes i will never understand: why did they replace the mushroom At the shortcut in roos Tube with that weird light? I mean it's such an irrelevant change, but i don't get why they did it.
Yeah its a weird change, I think it is cause the PS1 version of the track is supposed to be a more underground/abandoned track and the NF version's revamp is more technological.

Also i'm pretty sure they're using dynamic lighting and without a light source in that corner it would be pretty dark, so they're killing 2 birds with one stone.

The attention to detail by Beenox is so cute that it makes me think about how many Lab assistants and chicken Easter eggs there are.😂 Now where is the Nitro Squad when you need them?🤔

2 things. 1 I love them both..old and new ctr. And 2. No matter how updates dragon mines is....that spiral will always be a pain in the A to drift round 😄😄👍

Tengo ambos, me encanta el actual pero no hay que negar que el original tiene todo su carisma intacto
@@Beavoru Yo tambien tengo ambos. El CTR original es mi videojuego favorito, y si bien este remake me encanta, la razon por la que lo considero inferior es por dos razones:
1) Los controles: Las físicas son distintas. El kart al chocar suele parar en seco y al saltar cae muy rápido. Es ridículo que un juego de PS1 tenga mejores físicas que un videojuego de PS4, yo por esto digo que CTR era un videojuego DEMASIADO adelantado para su tiempo. Inclusive si lo hubieran sacado así tal cual hoy, seguiría pensando que se merece un 10. También el sistema de fuego es distinto y mas complicado dominarlo.
2) Lo que decís del carisma. No se porque, pero siento al videojuego original mas carismático. Quizá sea por la nostalgia, o por la innovación. Pero es que puedo jugar al CTR original y me sigue sorprendiendo, aun 15 años despues de haberlo empezado a jugar. Es que la música, los gráficos y los controles, sumado al inmenso contenido y a la infinita rejugabilidad que ofrece el modo multijugador, para mi es un juego unico. Este remake no me sorprende tanto, quizá porque es eso, un remake. Un remake no va a ser mejor que el original, ya que no es una idea fresca. Pero no me malinterpreten, yo AMO Nitro Fueled. Se merece para mi un 9/10 aunque siga siendo decepcionante en algunas cosas. Creo que jamas encontrare un videojuego que supere al CTR original XD
@@sebastiankulche si te das cuenta en el vídeo, a cambiado demasiado la velocidad de los vehículos ahora son demasiado veloces que nisiquiera puedes tener reflejos por donde ponerte para caer o aterrizar
incluso cambio algo que no me gustó para nada, mientras terminas de derrapar, vas andando normal y tienes todo el turbo consumiendolo normalmente, la velocidad no aumenta, disminuye pero cuando derrapeas aumenta, en cambio el original aumenta pasando a vehículos que derrapean, y eso será algo difícil de acostumbrarme, también para los nuevos pero "acostumbrados con el antiguo" que tienen el juego comprado

Retro Stadium is missing; it is an additional track, but it's just the retro version of Turbo Track, so one more comparison seems doable
It only exist on the PS4 version of the game so no point when he already did Turbo Track Comparsion.
Por juegos como Mario Maker, Smash, Mario Kart y ahora este es que quiero una Switch, se que la calidad de este juego baja en Switch pero no importa, tuve este juego original en ps1 y hasta la fecha mi juego favorito de toda la vida, no puedo esperar a jugar esta belleza remasterizada, más por la música, la adaptaron perfecto
Maravillosa comparación, los cambios le sentaron excelente al remake aunque el original no desmerece en nada.

I love the amount of detail they put into the tracks! but in the boses tracks, I wished they didnt change the sky colour, they gived you the "oh, something big is gonna happen" vibe, but hey, the tracks are looking great! ❤

Played both to compare myself and can say that OG plays better.
Jumps from ramps and bumps on the road are much easier to perform and power sliding is also much more easier to pull off even with the advanced characters that have bad ''Turn'' stat it's still very easy to keep control of you kart while power sliding.
I was failing almost all the time to get into the Sewer Speedway shortcut on the remaster while in the OG I could get into everytime.
Hitboxes for item/time crates and other items are much more forgiving on OG while in the remaster you seem to need to go straight into the middle of them otherwise you will not get it.
Is it just me or did HOT AIR SKYWAY get the biggest visual makeover out of all the tracks?
