Later game updates turned it into a mercenary suit, which was good early on but not as awesome as the stalker suit.
This bunker is part of a main story quest, so you will inevitably be able to get this Exoskeleton. I got the marker for the stash way prior to reaching the quest though, and was frustrated that I couldn't get to the stash, and then later was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't just the standard ammo, food, and vodka you usually find.
Fun fact, you can do that without the crate. Sprint and jump on one of the ledges, make sure your weight is in the green since you cant jump as high or run as fast if its in the yellow or red obviously.
there was an older obscure mod like that for shadow of chernobyl. picking up random things was rarely useful, but it was obscenely powerful when it did come in handy. made taking down neutral and friendly stalkers without making others hostile very easy since you could pick up explosive barrels and drop them at their feet. saved a lot of time and all around broke the game in ways you couldn't before since you could take objects into places for exploits that weren't previously possible
Also, you can kill Shakh by silence way. Just climb on the excavator (CAT machine you know), on its bucket, on the pipes and get into the window to it.

i rather grab the suit from spark base with the pipe puzzle wich is slightly worse but you can sprint in it by default and dosnt have enemies that interfeere (follow the large pipes at spark base, once you reach the 2 "jump boost anomalies" you dont have to use them, instead you have to jump over a large gap, the railing of the broken path will help)
Tbh it'd've been easier to just hop over the broken traincar into jupiter, went to Pripyat and gotten the Diamond Exoskeleton armor(the best armor in the game) and then the advanced hydraulics module(unlocks and upgrade for exosuits that adds the ability to sprint and also in Pripyat). Oh and to get out use the guide at the base that's there.
At that point it's prolly easier to go to pripyat get the Texan and clear the monolith outpost that's southeast of the Culture Palace and get the exact same exo. And you get some of the Monolith gear along the way too.
Also I am currently trying this and there are a few crates at Yaniv station so that might make it easier. They are at the northwest on a train, there is also a very small stash but you have no radiation or enemies on the way to the bunker
@@NexY92 just realized that my comment with an image link got instadeleted you can find Duty exo on top of the catwalks at the SKD assembly building, long building if you go straight outside of Duty camp
this is so much work for so little gain, its easier to do the train jump bug to get in prypiat for the dimond exoskeleton, gauss rifle and texan shotgun. Its just north of you
Also, on the Landfill, you can climb on the bus (jumping on tires with terrible radiation), jump to the back of the building, go down the stairs (WHERE I REPEAT IT is IMPOSSIBLE to GET IN a HUMAN WAY) and find a bag of things there!
Now just go a bit more North North East. Jump over the train, go to the diamond Exosuit location and run in and run out because monoliths are there and 50 more are behind that building, than return to the safehouse nearby and upgrade the armour. you can fast travel out of that zone aswell.
This would be a lot easier if you could climb things that are taller than 2 ft, but apparently skif is like 4"5 with 3" long arms, seriously why do games make it so hard just to climb a fcking crate? It's like they're scared of verticality.
Just FYI crouch jumping surprisingly is a thing in this game. And yes, your height does go higher when doing a crouch jump. Feels like an FPS throwback. But yeah I bet that first jump can easily be cleared with a crouch jump.

you can get one from the doctor mission too later on when he sends you to the mono den and asks you not to harm them but it doesnt really matter. One of the mono soldies in the tunnel has one in his inv when you loot him. this suit would be meta if you could spirit in it. Kinda weird that they decided against this considering we have to walk and run everywhere
@miked815 i don't think that's entirely true, I have one exo suit that I can sprint in after being upgraded but the diamond exo suit in this video doesn't have that as an upgrade option.

Meanwhile, the Zone: Nah, it won't be that easy for you.
Yeah, and in the end, some random guys just showed up to watch a fool with a box.
Yeah, but the loot in the nearby backpack is pretty poor. There’s also a skeleton that tried to take off their armor before they died.
I've heard of outside the box thinking but this is just another level 😂
Been in the Zone so long he thinkks hes back home playing Portal. The madness takes us all.
Fun fact, you can do that without the crate. Sprint and jump on one of the ledges, make sure your weight is in the green since you cant jump as high or run as fast if its in the yellow or red obviously.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Right on dude. Thank you!
It worked!! Thanks!!
work smarter not harder, awesome video this armor gonna help alot
There is a crate in one of trains cars above the bunker, a lot closer, also if you crouch when pushing the box it is heaps easier
We 100% need a pick up boxes and physics objects mod, it just makes sense really.
there was an older obscure mod like that for shadow of chernobyl. picking up random things was rarely useful, but it was obscenely powerful when it did come in handy. made taking down neutral and friendly stalkers without making others hostile very easy since you could pick up explosive barrels and drop them at their feet. saved a lot of time and all around broke the game in ways you couldn't before since you could take objects into places for exploits that weren't previously possible
Also, you can kill Shakh by silence way. Just climb on the excavator (CAT machine you know), on its bucket, on the pipes and get into the window to it.
CAT it is located next to the trash, the anomaly of "Hot", where the flame is from underground
That’s the same bastard who killed Puzir, Yuriy Fantomas’s buddy.
@@Left4GamingR the first time when I just took the task, I thought, well, these are regular people from "Freedom" and "Duty", but when I killed the Duty member, I realized that these are the most ordinary bandits, annoying competitors of this... What was his name, the boss of the bandits who settled in the old valley, old place of Freedom. So I killed the Shah later too)
However, you're talking about Puzir... What should I do with his PDA? Will I need it? I've almost completed the Last Day tasks, and it's still in my inventory, from the very beginning of the game... Is this a bug?
Amazing Video, what a true stalker legend!
i rather grab the suit from spark base with the pipe puzzle wich is slightly worse but you can sprint in it by default and dosnt have enemies that interfeere (follow the large pipes at spark base, once you reach the 2 "jump boost anomalies" you dont have to use them, instead you have to jump over a large gap, the railing of the broken path will help)
Hmm, interesting. I’ll definitely check that out. Thanks!
Worked for me :D Really cool!
this was a huge pain in the butt, but damn that armor was worth it
That’s for sure, dude N7.
Thanks for the guide!
You can get the same amount of armor with a 22.5 kg weight reduction with the ruby exo
@@FakeAccountNames Good to know.
The hard part isn’t getting the armor but getting the koupons to actually maintain it
A great example of hidden pitfalls.
some chow i managed to get in side of the bunker . . . thx for the video
At that point it's prolly easier to go to pripyat get the Texan and clear the monolith outpost that's southeast of the Culture Palace and get the exact same exo.
And you get some of the Monolith gear along the way too.
Rip Hachet you were a real one
Also I am currently trying this and there are a few crates at Yaniv station so that might make it easier. They are at the northwest on a train, there is also a very small stash but you have no radiation or enemies on the way to the bunker
In west part of Janow there is crate in wagon about 200 meters from bunker. I think its easier way only difficult is push it through tracks.
As a SoC vet, I’ll make that jump first try
very useful armor, thanks!
If you're that far north already, you can just go to the cooling towers and get the same exo in one of the buildings there with no box shenanigans
I love challenges.
Can you post ss of the location?
@@NexY92 just realized that my comment with an image link got instadeleted
you can find Duty exo on top of the catwalks at the SKD assembly building, long building if you go straight outside of Duty camp
this is so much work for so little gain, its easier to do the train jump bug to get in prypiat for the dimond exoskeleton, gauss rifle and texan shotgun. Its just north of you
Bro, good luck repairing it after 1 encounter :D
Already got the warning. 😬
Also, on the Landfill, you can climb on the bus (jumping on tires with terrible radiation), jump to the back of the building, go down the stairs (WHERE I REPEAT IT is IMPOSSIBLE to GET IN a HUMAN WAY) and find a bag of things there!
Is Landfill translated correctly? I meant Terricon
@@xGenierationGTx Was there a gas mask lying nearby? If that’s the place, you can get there the normal way.
@@Left4GamingR k, apparently I'm not looking for easy ways)
Funny. I just cleared this bunker out and forgot to check the roof!
back in my days the scientists' bunker had ladders you could climb
Now just go a bit more North North East. Jump over the train, go to the diamond Exosuit location and run in and run out because monoliths are there and 50 more are behind that building, than return to the safehouse nearby and upgrade the armour. you can fast travel out of that zone aswell.
Epic! On another note. What are your pc spec and how is your game sooo smooth lookin?😄
That's a 4090 + SSD + 64GB RAM + i9-13900K in 4K 👉👈
dude, ain't no way they really expected ppl to do this, everywhere I used a box to reach so far, didn't have nothing lmao amazing
People did it in the previous 3 games, why would they think no one would do it in S2 !?
These main missions then in laddle up
@@Kyrelel haven't played the og stalkers, couldn't know about it
if you stay close right in front of bunker's wall looking at it, your screen will be fully dark because of damn lumen and nanite
Yeah, the lighting in this game definitely needs fixing.
Nr.1 on "to do" list
then the artifacts exploit by save-scumming and some moneys by sailsman
These methods aren't entirely fair. I might consider loading a previous save myself to experience the intended progression of the character.
@@Left4GamingR For real, imagine cheesing money in a game where they already cut repair costs by like 50%. What a clown that guy is.
@@AmishMicrowave Ocasualisation is underway
This would be a lot easier if you could climb things that are taller than 2 ft, but apparently skif is like 4"5 with 3" long arms, seriously why do games make it so hard just to climb a fcking crate? It's like they're scared of verticality.
You can do a similar thing with a Corp fence and enter Yupiter/Prypyat
Just FYI crouch jumping surprisingly is a thing in this game. And yes, your height does go higher when doing a crouch jump. Feels like an FPS throwback.
But yeah I bet that first jump can easily be cleared with a crouch jump.
Even easier is if you use the broken train to your right where the excavator is. I jumped right in with some finnagling
it's like a secret in the shadow of Chernobyl 😮 your pretty good 😊
Somehow i manage to climb up without boxes. I dont remember what i do, but this exo serve me long, until i found monolith exo.
I can imagine the difficulties and coincidences it must have taken.
I have gotten to some interesting places, in malachite i pushed a barrel to the broken stairs and jumped up to get some armor next to a stash. i couldnt find any other way up. Also theres a ton of loot at the old ecologist base outside lab x-16. Great find though, ill have to check this spot out, id be interested to see if there is anything on top of Lodochkas research base
crazy to find this, i'm still using my diamond exo completely endgame, fully upgraded and achievement hunting with this gear. Only I got it legitimately.
I’ll load a previous save. I also prefer a legitimate progression path.
if you can get the money tu upgrade the servo to be able to sprint in yaniv is an amazing armor early game!
Your avatar is perfect for this video..😄👍
imagine having that crate shot by the enemies
Hahaha (laughing hysterically). In that case, I’d need an IV drip, and this video probably wouldn’t have seen the light of day.
would have lost my shit if bandits have shooted that box :D but now i need to go and try, just need to remember save often ..
you can get one from the doctor mission too later on when he sends you to the mono den and asks you not to harm them but it doesnt really matter. One of the mono soldies in the tunnel has one in his inv when you loot him. this suit would be meta if you could spirit in it. Kinda weird that they decided against this considering we have to walk and run everywhere
You can, just need to upgrade it at a tech. All exo suits can be sprinted in, just need to upgrade them.
@miked815 i don't think that's entirely true, I have one exo suit that I can sprint in after being upgraded but the diamond exo suit in this video doesn't have that as an upgrade option.
