You should have a go at building your own turbine , I am making prototypes using high power Ebike hub motors, regards from England.

Thank you! I have tried with motors from air heat pump. Works great!

What minimum wind need for this generator for start running?

The turbine is not mounted on the roof. The turbine needs laminar air flow, not air flow reflected from the walls or roof of the building or other terrain obstacles. Moreover, the roof is not adapted to this type of devices. Possible roof damage, difficult turbine servicing, lightning, vibrations and noise should also be taken into account.

Yes you are correct! It´s still there en spins when there is good wind. Even if it spins its just a 50 watt turbine. Not 500w like the company claims.

You cant use solar mppt with wind. Powercurve is not suited to load a turbine.
Try a normal bridge rectifier, 3 phase to dc, straight on the battery. Battery voltage will provide the cut-in voltage, and thus regulate the RPM aswell.
Only need to make your own overload protection. Voltage sensing relay to short the three phases for example.

Thank you sir. I use the "Hybrid Charge Controller" where I connect both alternating current from the wind generator and direct current from a 50 watt solar cell. Before I connected the solar cell, the battery discharged. Now it holds 12 volts despite autumn.

Can you give us an update about the output of the windturbine? Many thx!

In the stormy weather, I got a maximum power of 116 watts. Then I thought the roof would blow off. Storm really very windy. On normal days it does not spin at all.

According to the manufacturer, the control needs at least a 150 Ah battery. I haven't tested that yet. Instead using the simpler China control and charging a 75 Ah battery with my Vicron mppt control.er Works and I get data for each day. A bit windy the other day, 46 watts at most.

4*12=48watt or maybe the double with very strong wind.
    Where are the 500watt?
    Chinese toys...
