I love the concept. It’s totally unique so I have to get one. Putting this beside my team encoder hacked countercade will be a pretty good setup! Thanks for the videos!
So they used their extra left over dmds to make smaller ones. Ask atgames is the playfield the same exact 15.6inch dmd screen from their alp larger models?
Exactly this! 15.6 is not a logical size - even as a micro. 22/24 would have been perfect but they’ve obviously have excess stock so have cobbled this together. It will be a great unit - just too damn small!
Why not focus on a better pinball pro or something instead of this? Just my opinion but yeah not picking this up but I'm not into pinball that much anyway. Thanks for the update.
I'm glad I just recently picked up my regular sized AGL Pinball Machine for $500 at an overstock store out here in Cali. Totally agree to take advantage of cheaper prices while you can find em!
I skipped the micro pinball, but I fully expect to pick one up at some point. I have the big boy machine and I love the idea of the micro as a bartop complement. The price is too much so it will be interesting to see what happens when and if it hits retail. On another note, the recessed screen on this is looking great!
Not for me but damn I would have loved this as a child. As an adult, I'd rather go big or nothing. Or just use either of my pc monitors which both support vertical display. Thank you for the inside look, PDubs 👍
This is a definite buy!! Full size legs for some amazing goofy goodness.. I don’t have the room for a large pin. This might work great in the bathroom 🚽 with shorter legs😁
Wish they would it released some of these clips so we could get a better idea of what the actual product looks like. The lack of videos and real pics is the reason I didn't pre ordered.
I suspected this would look a lot better than the promo pics and it does. I don't know why those all looked like really odd mock-ups to me. I still think it's gonna look goofy af with legs. I wonder what replacement panels will fit in the playfield. There's some 15.6" 144hz panels available in the portable monitor market.
I thought this was closer to a 3/4 scale. Seems to be competing with the sharpin pinball machine like you mentioned. I would like to see it with legs on.
Is this going too be available in the UK.... Would defo buy one, loved pinball, since I played them at Butlins when I was young in the 60,s and 70,s....Bobby_G
I thought about buying this but since there was no footage on it other then that 30 second sizzle reel, i passed on it. I might buy it in the future if on sale.
One thing that’s going to be hard is going back to the d pad after having the arcade control. Still haven’t decided if I’m getting one. I love the alp I could see how it would be cool to have though
ALP at my local Sams was 739, Im not a member, add tax and membership would be more than NOD price so I bought during NOD, had a guy locally selling one new in box for 599 but it was over a year old, didnt want to roll the dice on that.
Legs would be kind of cool if they were placed on end/coffee tables, with a few of these side by side. On a regular desk or table, the legs would make for an awkward gaming position. What would be even cooler is having foldable/locking legs that you can leave on and fold diagonally inwards when moving to a higher surface. I realize this is a niche but I think they're really cool. I have 2x Arcade1Up pins, one of which is running a PC with PinballFX3, but wouldn't mind adding an ALP micro. I could have it deskside for when I need a break from work... ;)
Not sure if I’m gonna use the VIBS that comes with the preorder unit but I didn’t see that it came with a button to switch the backglass display. Does it?
PDubs, I love the design and artwork of this new micro pinball. And actually, to me, it's not too small, it looks just right for some good pinball play. I admit, I would've liked to see some legs, and though if this stood as tall as my Legend Pinball, I think they would still look cool. Not necessary for me, but would've been a welcome option. However, what made me pass on this was the fact it had no plunger. Given it's sturdy build (from what it looks like in these new videos and given AtGames other pin) it looks like a small plunger could've happened. For me, that's an essential component for pinball feel. The other thing is the price, two fold. I would've liked to see this come out at $299 with free shipping. That would've been a sweet spot for me. However, I think AtGames pricing is reasonable. Though a bit high for me, if this had a plunger, and they could get it down to $399 with free shipping, I could see myself picking it up. When all is said and done, this looks like a win for AtGames. I'm looking forward to your review to see how it stacks up :) vgv
I imagine that since the NOD Hero Deal included a VIBS board, there *should* be HDMI and USB (also necessary for Flash Drive X). I hope they came up with a better location for the ports, though. I preordered one that I'll probably use with my Nintendo Switch.
I want to know what is inside especially for that price. That being said the $330 would have been much more palatable than closer to $500. They will not get my money for that higher price point and I will stick to a PC build that is MUCH more powerful.
@@PDubsArcadeLoft A guy in a Cadillac passed me with an iPad on his steering wheel then he crashed off the side of the interstate. I learned from his mistakes.
At this size I would just put a zerodelay encoder and a few buttons together for a pinball controller and turn my laptop on it's side. Even a normal size 24 inch horizontal screen on your desktop offers the same real estate playing vertical pinball. No benefits to having this at all I can see!! 1080p ? THey probably should have went down to 720P no real need for 1080P on 15 inch monitor! The economy is going down, luxury items like home pinball machines won't be going up for very long if at all!
I like the shot with a "Full PC tower". That gave it some solid scale. Thanks Pdubs.
Most welcome!

Happy to share intel!

I could have sworn the survey we took said we wanted a bigger more commercial machine? Why did they make this? This price point makes no sense
Easier to build smaller ones. Survey also said there was some interest for smaller units.
Yes it does homie. I'm in a 1000 square foot apartment. I'm so hype for the micro it's everything I've ever wanted.
I'm glad I just recently picked up my regular sized AGL Pinball Machine for $500 at an overstock store out here in Cali. Totally agree to take advantage of cheaper prices while you can find em!
Next wave of stock won’t be as cheap

Yes the recessed screen looks good
I see PDUBS is grooming self. Gettting ready for the trip(hair cut). have fun. The question, could it moded with larger screen?
No PDubs cannot be modded with a larger screen - even with a fresh haircut
Not for me but damn I would have loved this as a child. As an adult, I'd rather go big or nothing. Or just use either of my pc monitors which both support vertical display. Thank you for the inside look, PDubs 👍

I hope they show more later. This is perfect for my little apartment. But I should not have rushed it . But it is looking good.
Hope this helps-
@@PDubsArcadeLoft it does
It will be interesting to see if a micro version of the arcade controls will be available.
Sounds cute :)

Maybe coming to QVC and HSN.

Never hurts to wait.

If you have the larger one I wouldn’t stress about getting the smaller one
I'm waiting to here of the announcement of the an arcade control for this LOL would have to be tiny buttons and stick lol
I think it looks pretty cool

New in box over a year old sounds sketchy

Looks cool but no real use case if you've got the full size. The NOD price seems acceptable.
Correct if you have the full size you really don't need this
thank you for the video! glad i passed on this one
Thanks for sharing!
Glad I got my ALP for $400, I'm loving the new natural history pack.
Fun pack of games
Not sure if I’m gonna use the VIBS that comes with the preorder unit but I didn’t see that it came with a button to switch the backglass display. Does it?
Will come with the VIBS
I think it would tip over with legs. At that size, Ill continue to play pinball on my 12” ipad pro
Yes legs would be silly on this one IMO

Are there going to be hdmi and usb ports on this? Don't see any on the front under the backbox

Yes
Have fun on the upcoming trip!
Thank you
It is small but that would be the reason they call it a Micro Pinball, being this small is it worth the price point?
Only you can answer that question
In my opinion, no. For anyone working with limited space, the price may not be a problem. The micros are definitely awesome, great video 💪🏾
Are there solenoids/haptic feedback inside?
No solenoid’s should have haptics
So mines had said pre order 329.00 so do I still get it for that price but it don't show that old price.
Yes you got the NOD sale price
is it anyway possible to play the tables with 120hz ?
No
I actually like the shape of the back box more than the standard ALP
Its a nice table top machine 👍
LOL, the AtGames Micro playfield screen somehow still looks bigger than the Arcade1Up pinball's screen.
That's sad for the A1up 😀
I want to know what is inside especially for that price. That being said the $330 would have been much more palatable than closer to $500. They will not get my money for that higher price point and I will stick to a PC build that is MUCH more powerful.
Same hardware as the larger machine minus the plunger
Thanks Pdubs way too small for the price!
Does anyone’s else’s alp micro not have haptics on gottlieb tables?
Anyone know how much this weighs?
Not exactly
If this came out 2 years ago I would be all over it
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’m gonna Velcro one to my steering wheel for mobile gaming.
Lol funny

Lol they didn’t
I hope the legs are universal so we can buy the legs from third party.
Its cool in all I'd like to get one but 450 bucks hmmm
Thanks for sharing!
It's "et cetera" not "ex cetera"
Lol don’t care
for $299 it would be buy, but at $499, I'll pass
