I hope you enjoy it. I have mine on pinball legs right now and it's perfect for the young ones that visit us. For adults, I do recommend it on a bartop, or similar table. What art did you get?
I got mine setup today with a set of 31” Bally legs. It plays amazing with the legs. Forward and side to side nudging works so well I wish those buttons weren’t on it. It looks great between my other cabinets. I didn’t want a larger table just like you said for the space. I was having the same issue with the directional button but worked perfectly after the update.
@@Raskull Hey I’m out of town with the family this weekend. I will definitely send you some pictures of it soon as I get back.👍 I can also send you a video of how well the haptics work nudging it if you’d like.
@@Raskull have u found some legs yet and if so can u share a link? Going to be ordering the micro this Thursday can't wait. This will be my first virtual pinball table ever pinball table in general
Thanks for the first look. I own a Legends pinball but would still possibly be interested in a Micro as a secondary device. A bartop/semi portable pinball machine has a lot of appeal. It's great AtGames moved the inputs to the back and made the changes to accomodate the upcoming VIBS.
It has its place in the world. AtGames is going to work with me on the Gottlieb tables. I’m sure with a few improvements I will be even more excited for it.
Nice overview, Scott. Might be something fun for younger children and adults with *really* good eyesight and not enough space for an ALP or a full size real table and only if they slashed the price by like, er, half, but who knows.
Hmm.... I have the original ALP and have gotten Steam version of Pinball FX 3 with the unlock mostly setup (just ordered the switch board and arcade controller) and it works fantasticly. But I was having problems getting the Taito and Gottlieb tables I bought working. I haven't tried it in awhile and just found out that Atgames has different versions of the tables and I wonder if I somehow bought the cabinet versions. Also. You said steam deck? It works? Sweet! Trying to find the video.
It does not come with legs by default. AtGames is selling them as an option. I have installed a set of standard ALP legs on my ALP Micro and find it they are great for my grandkids, but it is too low for me.
When I upgrade it's latest firmware when it pops up, all my tables stop working and graphic mess up. Factory reset didnt help as it black out all the tables. They had to send me a side loader firmware to make it work again. BEWARE THE LATEST FORWARE CAN MESS UP THE CAB. ITS BUGGY.
Are you referring to the ALP Micro or another device? Based on you mentioning factory reset blacking out tables, it sounds like it’s another device. If that’s the case, your comment on this particular video would potentially confuse people that own or purchase an ALP Micro. Please reply to let me know what device this occurred on.
So this does not look as terrible as I initially thought but just to throw this out there, I think they could have done much better with the back box. If I would have designed it, I would move the speakers to the sides or on the body and use the rest of the real estate for a nice big back box screen to more accurately represent a real machine.
Just like the original ALP backbox, the proportions look off to me too. But it does look and feel much better in person. I’m glad the video did it justice.
Thanks for the review. Definitely not for someone like me, who has low vision. LOL Maybe it would be fine for company, if it were setup in an entryway, using a set of actual pinball table legs I happen to have. But, I doubt I'd ever play it, with screens that tiny. Geez. They could've at least put the ALP's backglass monitor on this one's backglass. It would've fit, and have been more to scale, at least. But playing with a 15" playfield, for me, would be like playing pinball with BBs. LOL.
I only see these being worth it if you don’t already have the full size,if you have the full size there’s really no point in something g that just gets in the way. It’s cute and if you don’t have space it’s great but just see no sense in getting one if you own the full size.
Picking mine up this weekend. Just arrived to my shipping depot today. Can't wait

Happen to have photos? I'm curious what it looks like.
Definitely want to see it. Please email pics (you know the email address from the show).

@@goofyfoot390 It's OK. Apparently several people have done the same and included pictures. I'm already shopping for a set of used ALP legs ;-)

Good Job Scott 👏
Thanks Patrick. Appreciate the feedback.
I'm tempted to get one of these myself! as don't have the space for the full size machine, atm I only own the basic CORE puck.
I’m hearing that a lot lately. There is a sale going on soon. Keep an eye out.

I haven't personally setup my Steam Deck with an ALU or ALP. I'm looking forward to trying with my ALP Micro once the VIBS 2.0 boards ship.
It looks perfect for future mods. Does it have standing legs?

Did yours have a weird smell to it? Mine does. It is almost like a burning electronics smell, but it was like that before I even turned it on.
Nope. Nothing like that. I definitely would have brought that up in my first look.
Mine smells the same. I can smell it when I walk into my house
mine also has a metallic/rubber-like smell. brother noticed as well
@@mefaun Now that it has been a month, I'm not smelling anything now. How long have you had it?
How is your micro pinball machine doing now.does it still smell????. Did you contact atgames about it. If there was a number I would of .

But it's 10 times bigger than playing on my cellphone lol

You hit the nail on the head.
Has anyone that bought a legend micro pinball machine have a issue with a weird smell to it.🤔
I don't recall having this issue with mine. I will be curious to see what others say.
