Check out my original review if you want to know how to access the secret menu to turn off the default fade, the best curve dimming setting ruclips.net/video/TymBcxvy9kE/видео.htmlsi=c4UK6aj3tUMSWhML&t=473
At least someone else is pulling the click bait thumbnails! Great video. Do you know how the hidden menu settings? Hold enter or it might be menu. Then you can turn of the delay which messes with dmx. But also you can make the tubes brighter or more dim to your liking. We run them on the 4 hour mode and they last forever. Battery life really comes down to how many of the diodes your using. RGBWA (So advice is to use the true white to make a white for say dinner and not the RGB combined for white as it will burn 3x the battery in the same time frame.
If you like this thumbnail, you’ll love the one I have for the IR4 lol I do feature the advanced menu and the delay setting in my initial review (linked in description in case anyone reading this is interested) as well as my favorite dimming curve. (2) but that is super import to know, thanks for mentioning it here I’ve had battery operated lights from chauvet, adj, and aputure, and they’ve all been pretty accurate with their brightness/battery settings, regardless of the colors used. It’s obviously not a deal breaker for me that the titan tubes don’t have it, but it is a slight inconvenience
I have been running mine on 1 Hour mode this whole time. They have no issue lasting a full 6 hours on that mode with one exception - the master. That tends to only last about 5 hours, which means sometimes I have to switch master from one to another (if it's a long gig)...but it is really only an issue when I have them on during dinner, which I'm finding is wholly unnecessary. 4 hours of dancing? No sweat. Now I'm turning them on once dinner is complete and we're getting closer to dancing and that seems to help elevate the energy and excitement a lot more than someone walking in during cocktail and seeing them glowing. Not sure if I personally like having them off at any point, but it's a trade off. I can always just plug in the master if I need to (I have one charger built into my Max booth that can run out in a pinch).
I bought four of these to try them out, and I agree with most of what you have said. The both stands are high quality and come with a nice carrying case as well. They can extend to put the tubes up quite high if needed. I used them at the last show I did lighting for and they worked well. Took me some time to figure out how to get them connected but once that hurdle was gone they seem to be very consistent. I am not as adept at SS yet, and pixel mapping is on the "to do list". So I needed to use the 12 channel mode and set attribute cues. Works for what I needed, they have a lot of geat built in effects. We generally don't use sound active mode, but I noticed that there was a warning that the microphone is inside the unit, and to make it water proof they suggest the microphone wont work well. They sent a different base plate for the unit if you plan to use sound active mode, but I believe it then makes them not water proof. Just an interesting point. I noticed the weird issue with plugging them in and trying to use them as well.
The both lighting stands do seem nice! But i'd probably use an adapter with those as well to not wear out the threads. Nothing wrong with using 12-channel mode! The built-in macros are definitely nice. It's way better than just straight up auto-mode, I don't like some of the strobing macros.
Man that’s crazy. I have used mine like 4 nights now for least 4 hours a piece and I’m still at 50% 😂 and I’ve had them in 1 hour mode the whole time. I’m using mad mapper and Resolume. Glad you posted that delay fix and the dimming curve thing. That was the biggest bummer for me so far, so I’m excited to see how well it works afterwards. Thanks again.
Hey Daryl, just wondered. When you have these tubes in light shows and they’re clamped at an angle what are you using to do that? Thanks 🙏 keep up the great work!! 🎉
Thanks for the tip about the bag! I have the STX's and these, and I needed a good bag so I don't have to take the tripods on and off! I'm finding that the tripods on the BOTH kinda suck, so I'm rigging an adapter to use the tripods that the STX's came with. I'm hoping that bag is tall enough to accommodate. Great tip brother.
Thanks for the information! I just bought 8 of the titan tubes. I want to mount four on regular mic stands & four on the floor pedestals that came with them. Is there a link for the gator frameworks connectors?? Love your content!
Thx for the video. I should be getting mine in a week or so. I got the charging case, so we'll see how that goes. With the Smallrig adapter and the tripod stands the lights came with, do the lights still stand straight up or are they wobbly?
I see you store the tubes inside the carrying bag in individual sleeves. Where did you buy those sleeves? Or did they come with the tubes? Thanks! Great vid
I like these more because they have built in wireless DMX, I like the pixel density and I like the shape better. The chauvet well stx 180 are better than both but are more expensive
I got the gator quicklocks but they have the full size mic connection. How did you get them to work with the smaller connection on the bottom of the lights?
@@DJDarylBennett also a good tip is to use quick lock on the screws you would like to keep connected. I have the both stands and the screws would either get stuck in the stand or stuck in the light. Now that I used the quick lock gel on the screws I didn’t want to come off they stay in place. Also Amazon has little tripod stands that work better than the ones that come with the both tubes.
Lol “Pitan Pixel tube”. As far as throw goes on these, I had a crazy scenario happen where the venue I was at lost power but the tubes and Soundswitch stayed on because I had my white setting on and Soundswitch Control One runs off the laptop power anyway. I packed up everything by the light of the tubes and they actually were so bright they lit up the entire venue. Thankfully this happen during load out and not the dancefloor but I was surprised at how well lit they kept the entire barn. I will send you a photo on insta later.
Thanks for the review and tips. What size adaptor did you use to attach the tubes to the "Chrome on stage quick release adapter" ? is it 3/8 to M8? can you post a link. Oh and just thought I let you know your link to the Chrome adapters is incorrect.
Had 8 for a few weeks. Haven't used at a gig yet but I did a couple battery cycles and I agree - 6 hour mode seems like the sweet spot for longer gigs. Definitely pulling the trigger on the soundswitch shortcut soon
The stands seem pretty cool, I haven't tried them out myself. I like the mic stand with adapters so that I don't have to unscrew them and wear out the threads.
So of the 3 stand adapters you show, which one do you think is the best? I got the hawk lock ones and one sets straight and perfect. The other one leans and it drives me crazy!
I’m having an issue where 4 of my 8 tubes just stopped syncing up to each other… I’ve tried resetting the factory reset still not connecting. All on the same ID 1 and DMX 121 channel… have you ever experienced this issue before? Can’t seem to get any info on how to fix it.
And summary is very on point, I hate those “Chinese” lights, movers, etc. They might be very cost effective and offer sometimes more “functions” than those branded with chauvet, adj, showtec etc You said that they are not perfect but good enough, but I really want perfection in my setup, those are tools for my job and I don’t want to deal with stupid thing like you mentioned, taking about those how cheaply mounting brackets are made. Don t have time to fix not well made products which I might rely on, It is better to pay 1000$ for a mover that would last you for 5years than to pay 500$ for a mover with simillar performance that would last you for 2 years where meanwhile would also bring you frustration. Greetings, keep up good work. Sorry for mistakes English is not my main language.
I agree with you, which I was really frustrated when my name brand lights weren't reliable, and these Chinese tubes were more reliable. I saw chinese movers 5-years ago and wasn't impressed, but the build quality is pretty dang good. The MH150 from Both Lighting is on par build-quality wise as Chauvet
Should be a very similar process to setting it up in SS in this video How To Connect the Both Titan 360 Pixel Tube To SoundSwitch Wirelessly (BO-TUBE192) ruclips.net/video/7PnoEP-vdRs/видео.html
I had issues when I first bought them with the threading of the bottoms as well and instantly got replacements for a few of them. I got 4 stands and they were actually even more garbage. The male threading at the top of the stand of 3 of them bent and became wobbly inside the stand and they also sent replacements for those. I feel like the light itself is great but unfortunately the hardware and everything they used with it is straight trash

Hey Daryl, just wondered. When you have these tubes in light shows and they’re clamped at an angle what are you using to do that? Thanks 🙏 keep up the great work!! 🎉
Angled deployment doesn’t work well with these as they asymmetrical

Hey Daryl , that bag you linked to is 31.5x8.2x8.2in, is that going to be long enough for the 360 tubes?
all essential info, thank you
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video - Thank you!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching
Hey Daryl,
I got a question, would your pixel chases also work on the adj/wolfmix w1?
No
@@DJDarylBennett ah. I figured. But would it be possible to program pixel chases on the wolfmix tor this unit
Love the video man keep it up
Appreciate it, thanks!

I use these: amzn.to/4auZXmY
Along with 5/8 to 1/4" adapters: amzn.to/3WW24wW
Curious what size bag you got the ones linked in Amazon don’t seem long enough. They’d need to be around 60” correct?
I have two of them, each housing 8 tubes. The end of the attached tripod protrude a bit, but the bags elasticity makes it work.
Thx for the video. I should be getting mine in a week or so. I got the charging case, so we'll see how that goes. With the Smallrig adapter and the tripod stands the lights came with, do the lights still stand straight up or are they wobbly?
Like I've said in the video, you may need to tighten them a bit before using, which is way easier than screwing on the entire light
@DJDarylBennett that's what I was confused about. Do you have to tight the adapter every time to attach them?
I see you store the tubes inside the carrying bag in individual sleeves. Where did you buy those sleeves? Or did they come with the tubes? Thanks! Great vid
The sleeves come with the tubes when you buy them in the softshell case
How does the chauvet freedom sticks compare to those?
I like these more because they have built in wireless DMX, I like the pixel density and I like the shape better.
The chauvet well stx 180 are better than both but are more expensive
I got the gator quicklocks but they have the full size mic connection. How did you get them to work with the smaller connection on the bottom of the lights?
5/8” to 1/4” adapter, it’s a super common use case, so they’re easy to find

Yeah it’s kinda disappointing and I feel like 1/4” is a little small for a tube of this size
I am still on the fence = about buying the 360 tubes.............
There’s definitely pros and cons to them. I like them. If you’re on the fence, you can always buy a set of 4 first
I bought 8
Not my taste I guess. Seems like a fad that will die off soon. Thanks fro the video

Easier to deal with than moving head lights
