My buds and I are planning on playing Sequoyah National this October. These videos are priceless in terms of doing a little advance planning!! Keep up the great work, PAG!!!! 👍
I just found your channel today and have enjoyed watching your videos so far. I just started playing golf this past summer and have fell in love with the game ever since. I am planning on taking my dad to play there soon. It will be our first time playing there but looks amazing. Is it still really nice in the spring? Looking forward to more of your videos. Keep up the great work and good luck with your golf game. :)
I will just miss you by a week then. We have our trip planned for next Thursday and Friday. Would have been really cool to meet you and play a round. Maybe someday.
Never been a fan of hilly sloping courses like most of western NC courses. Quite a few mountain courses are built in a valley with more level terrain. Never expect a good score on those courses like in flat areas like Florida or closer to coastal areas. A ball off the fairway could be 100’ down a slope in weeds unlike coast courses where fairways on each side allow you to recover. Mountain courses greens are super difficult to putt because the grain grows heavy toward the most moist slopes. I believe if you get out of your resident area and play flat courses you will score much lower because you have a pretty good swing.
Been working through it all! Mountain golf is definitely unforgiving compared to most courses out there. Spoiler alert, we shot an 84 at a major destination course recently, video soon :)
You're going to love this: They are essentially a store bought starter set of Wilson Blackjacks(?). Got the set for a stupid cheap deal and haven't upgraded yet lol

I'll let u know how the course is! I'm sure we will find time at some point
I golfed here in the fall. It was unreal. The elevation changes were nuts along with the unreal views...
By far one of my FAVORITE tracks I've played yet no question
That course is awesome played there a couple weeks ago
I absolutely HAVE to get back out here ngl. Just waiting for the weather to give a full turn into the 60s-70 and I am THERE
Be careful if the cart paths are wet. Played after a downpour and several carts got bruised up. Extremely steep cart paths that are slick when wet
Oh BIG TIME I couldn't imagine trying to finesse the cart down wet paths on some of these holes lol
@@PerfectlyAverageGolf it was very sketchy. I seriously thought we were going to get seriously injured

what day did you play on where there was no one there??
It was like a perfect late October day. I had no idea why it was so empty lol
Great content. What irons do you play?
