Woody, good to see you again. Your videos always cause me to think. I see no one else has commented yet so let me just say I’ve got things in my memory closet I’d rather permanently forget. I like your expression that the past is history future is a mystery and present is a gift…. Now maybe when and if our thoughts bring up past baggage we can offset this by developing a positive vision for our future rather always letting It always be a mystery. That way if your mind drifts back to past baggage we can learn to do a quick about face and get back on track to the more positive and hopeful vision of the future we’ve set. If we can then we should be better able to enjoy the present. I think that is where your “be kind” message has taken you. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for your thoughts Bill I believe that the way we are in the present moment is what makes our future. We certainly can't live on the past or dread the future , the present is the only thing that is real and it's what we do in the present that makes us who we are. Stay positive my friend
Hi Woody, more food for thought. Yes we all have a lot of baggage and it is hard to let it go. There are so many regrets I have made that it does way on my mind. I keep trying not to dwell on the past and take every day as it comes. But it would be nice to not have to keep taking all the medication, and just imagine if we no longer had to keep checking diary’s to make sure we didn’t miss any hospital/doctor appointments. Also being a carer for my 90 year old mum stops me making any plans for the future. This isn’t what I had planned for my retirement, most likely the same for most people . Anyhow we must all try to be positive, because we can’t change the past but hopefully we can change how we go forward.
Even with stage 4 cancer the present is a gift if we keep positive. Most of us carry some baggage and regret mistakes. Hopefully we have learned from our mistakes. We live in a first world country and have daughters and know our genes will probably live on. I need to forgive my former wives.

Absolutely Aldo but at least we are alive and the alternative to all the appointments injections and tablets is just unthinkable stay strong 🙏
