Βλέποντας τόσους πολλούς να ανθρώπους να αγαπάνε την Ελλάδα με κάνει να νιώθω ακόμα καλυτερα
Δεν αγαπάνε την Ελλάδα (και σίγουρα όχι τους Έλληνες) απλώς ήρθαν ένα καλοκαίρι, έφτιαξαν κάποιες καλές αναμνήσεις και εκφράζονται με καλά λόγια εδώ. Κατα βάθος ζηλεύπουν τον τόπο (τα καλά μέρη που είδαν δλδ , διότι υπάρχουν και μέρη στην σύγχρονη Ελλάδα που δεν τα ζηλεύει κανείς) και θα ήθελαν να τον έχουν για δικό τους. Επίσης φθονούν την συνεισφορά των Ελλήνων του παρελθόντος στον παγκόσμιο πολιτισμό. Αυτός ο φθόνος βεβαίως δεν είναι έντονος (δεν πρασινίζουν απο το κακό τους!) αλλά είναι λεπτός και ύπουλος. Οι πιο πολλοί δεν θέλουν μια Ελλάδα ευημερούσα, αλλά να είμαστε τα γκαρσονια τους. Απο την εισβολη των Γαλατών του 279 πΧ , τις ορδές του Αλάριχου το 300 μΧ, τους Βούλγαρους που κατέβηκαν στην Θράκη το 600 μΧ , τους Φράγκους που εισέβαλλαν το 1200 μΧ , η Βόρεια και Δυτική Ευρώπη πάντα ήθελε την εξόντωση του Ελληνισμού.

That's so awesome. It's probably because you already speak English well so despite English is a Germanic language, so much of it is comprised of Greek. I taught my kids Greek and Latin on homeschool so by the time they got to high school and college music theory and science were easier to understand, as well as almost any word they came across for the first time. Learning Greek opens up worlds for your mind.

My city has a greek festival every year. It's my favorite weekend of the summer. Inevitably by 9 o'clock, I'm in a circle of people, dancing barefoot for hours on end. My feet still havent healed from this year's event.

Raki sucks, like all middle eastern drinks (arak etc). Ouzo is good, but Greeks in 90% of cases prefer wine
In the island of Crete they indeed have Raki but it’s a grape based drink not the typical Balkan Raki or Arab Arak in which I’m sorry to say, ouzo is similar to! Great tunes these are though
